When it comes to celebrities and cosmetic surgery, many of us feel like detectives ourselves, confidently guessing what procedures a particular star has undergone just by looking at a photo. And yes, it’s more common than ever for people, especially financially affluent people, to undergo plastic surgery and other cosmetic treatments if they wish. So it makes some sense to think that many of our famous conventionally beautiful faces have been shaped and tweaked by plastic surgeons and dermatologists. But unless a celebrity is going to list everything they’ve ever accomplished, it’s all speculation, and which celebrity is going to do that? good, megan foxactually.
on a new episode of the podcast please call her daddy, Fox sits down with host Alexandra Cooper to talk about a number of topics, including the plastic surgery she’s had and the plastic surgery she didn’t choose to have. The actor and writer is under no obligation to provide this information to anyone, but her candor is truly refreshing.
“I had my breasts done when I was 21 or 22,” Fox says. But this wasn’t the last time she had breast implants. In fact, she says she did it two more times. “I didn’t know where the kids went, so I asked them to try again after they finished feeding, but they went away. And I didn’t have enough body fat to disguise it on the first set, so I just recently had to try it again.” We could see the rippling of the implants, so we had to switch them to this set.”
But despite having breast implants done and re-done many times, she doesn’t take the process lightly and is apparently quite superstitious about it. “When I go in for surgery, it’s a very big issue and all the doctors meet me beforehand and ask if I saw any signs, if I saw an owl or a crow, if someone stepped on my foot. “You have to tell me if there’s a dead spider,” she says, explaining that she’s scared of dying under general anesthesia (though experts say she’s not worried about anesthesia-related complications). She also made sure her surgeon knew exactly what she wanted from her breast implants: “1990 stripper boobs” as she wanted to avoid anesthesia. She told the surgeon: And that’s what he did, she said. And they’re not that big. It’s 32D so it’s not that big. They just look bigger on my body because I’m smaller,” Fox explains. “But if he could have gotten any bigger, I would have had him get bigger, because I don’t like surgery.”
