Even celebrities known for their bold nail art are moving away from their glamorous ways this year in favor of a minimalist, understated, mannish trend. But nail art is never going away, thanks to a few stars who remain true to their glamorous fingers. In fact, when some celebrities become subtle, megan fox I’ll be happy to work harder. Her latest manicure is one of her most intense in 2023, and that’s saying quite a bit.
Fox has been playing around with a lot of fun, elegant, and edgy manicures this year, including “tattoos” over red polish, pointy pink Aura nails, and most recently, tiny silver dimensional balls. And she seems to be sticking to the silver dimensional theme with her manicure, which her go-to manicurist Brittney Boyce shared a photo of on Thursday, Dec. 7.
“I wanted to create something cool and edgy and 3D,” says Boyce. allure. “We chose this design because we’re both obsessed with chrome nails.” And to be honest, just looking at them makes us just as obsessed. The very long square claws are each coated with silver and have several bulbous bubbles, and the thumb has a raised heart. But what really sets this manicure apart from other chrome looks is the message on the other nails.
Fox’s manicure has letters written on each nail that spell out “BOYS SUCK.” Perhaps she couldn’t fit into the title of her new collection of poems. Cute boys are poisonous. And whether you agree with this statement or not, you have to admit that it’s incredible.
“It took me five hours to make these nails, but they were totally worth it,” says Boyce, who sculpted the nails by hand using gel sculpting clay.
