My review of MERIT Beauty Signature Lip Matte
First of all, let me say that I really like the packaging. Like all MERIT products, it’s extremely chic, classy, and wonderfully understated.
The first shade I tried was a neutral shade called Classic. Because I’m always looking for matte nude shades that are easy to use and don’t dry out my lips.
The texture is lovely. It has a smooth, creamy texture that is extremely easy to apply and provides an opaque color effect. You can choose soft, smudgy shades or build a bolder, more defined look. This formula does not dry out the lips and reapplies very well.
Since I only properly tested the nude shade Classic, it’s hard to judge how long these lipsticks will last as I don’t think the staying power is as evident in the nude shades. However, the classics lasted very well. I think it was for a few hours, but I had to reapply it after lunch. I also love the brown nude color Antibes. I’ll try to share a photo of myself wearing it soon.
I will update as soon as I try the red shade. I really like the look of the power.
