hello my friend. Merry Christmas! I hope you feel loved, peaceful, and happy today.
We returned from Hawaii a few days ago and so far we’ve been busy baking cookies, writing cards, and delivering presents. But I still feel the spirit of aloha in my heart, and it’s keeping me warm and comfortable on this cold Bay Area day.
How has your vacation been so far? It feels like it’s gone by in the blink of an eye. I wanted to do more for everyone in my life, but at some point I realized that there are only so many hours in the day and so much energy to be active, and that’s all I can do. I realized that I needed to accept that. I will do the best I can. It has truly been a season of blessings for this end of the keyboard. Grace for yourself and grace for others.
Anyway, since I spent most of the last week with my toes in the sand, here are some photos I’ve been meaning to post from my trip. I’ve been to Hawaii countless times and the natural beauty everywhere still amazes me.
Oh, did Santa bring you anything in particular that you were looking forward to? I got a book called “Girl Dinner.” Lots of snack plate ideas and beautiful photos. I always use a snack plate for my meals that day (lol)! I can’t wait to create something out of it.
