This week’s manicure was a bit of a failure as I didn’t get the desired effect, but I think my nails turned out nice enough to receive compliments. When I showed it to her husband, she said it looked like “bacteria growing in a petri dish,” hence the name of the post. For me, the nails reminded me of: Ishihara color vision test! That said, I’m not a fan of redoing my nails or hiding my mistakes, so this week I’m introducing you to bacterial nail art!

Green is one of my favorite colors to play with, so I wanted to get creative and try a few different things this month. I haven’t bought any new shades because lord knows I’m still working my way through the never-ending list of things I haven’t tried yet, but some new press samples have arrived that I can look forward to for spring.
