what i bought
I’ve been battling a cold since I came to Paris last Wednesday. Last week my throat started to feel a little irritated, but I was constantly surrounded by the dry air on the plane and cigarette smoke on the streets of Paris (which I’m not used to compared to the air on the streets of Vancouver) for 14-15 hours a day. Considering I was working, I didn’t think so. And at the Chaumet event in the evening, while listening to live music, I said out loud that my throat was just overactive. I brought three pouches of Emergen C and downed each one every time I was there, and between that and sheer willpower, I don’t think I ever had more than a sore throat. . However, since I’ve been back, my cold has progressed (I took 3 coronavirus tests in Paris and back home, and the results were negative), and I’m hoping that it will be better by tomorrow, when I need to go back to work. shop!
I know I haven’t done a “real” Halloween manicure yet, but I have some ideas for next week. I miss sitting down and doing some serious nail art, but for now I’ll have to content myself with a few swatches from Cadillac Rocker’s Wednesday-inspired collection.
