Some press samples were introduced
Last week, I wore a sweater dress for the first time and realized that fall has officially arrived! It rained and the wind was strong, but it was kind of hot and humid. Although it’s typical of Vancouver’s climate, it’s often a surprise to those who move here. Sure, the temperatures are mild, but the constant wetness takes a toll on people. I’ve gotten used to it, but it’s not always fun because it’s really hard to wake up in the morning. I enjoy digging into the nail polish releases that fall, and while all the other beauty products have fallen by the wayside, this is probably the only beauty category I consistently blog about. . Cosmetic Proof started as a nail polish blog, so it only makes sense that if its core time and energy were to do one thing, it would be nails. This year, there were a lot of collections that caught my eye, so I did my best to make them available for everyone to wear!
The Sally Hansen x Sesame Street collection is something I couldn’t resist buying for myself, and even though I didn’t pick up the entire collection (some of the glitter was great, I couldn’t resist wearing it over and over again). (Not the shade I wanted), pick up 4 amazing shades.I’m already wearing it I’ve come down to snuff and now I’m wearing Oscar the Grouch’s colors, Scrum! I don’t usually wear metallic finishes, but I had to buy this one.

I layered the fall foliage gradient using Nail Vinyl from Whatsup Nails and sponged the gradient using two shades from the new Bio Sculpture African Sunset Collection. Golden Hour is a dark brownish-yellow with hints of white that compliments all skin tones and evokes the warmth of Africa. Sunset Red is a stunning deep red with orange-brown undertones that also looks great on all skin tones and is inspired by African sunsets.
