I wasn’t expecting to take a stats day this week, as it feels like a long weekend is coming up after fall and September, but I’m really glad I got to work for a short week. Since Wednesday and today were days off, he decided to make a plan, do some chores around the house, and write a blog post, probably for the first time in three weeks. The past month has been extremely stressful, but I’m finding it hard to feel motivated to do something, even if it’s something as simple as doing a second load of laundry or renewing my home insurance. I was so happy. It’s all in the little things!

I’d like to add here that I haven’t seen the Barbie movie yet (I know, I know!). Mainly because my husband doesn’t really like to watch movies, and when it comes to going to the movies, I prefer watching movies. Things like Top Gun and Marvel movies look better on the big screen. I also get motion sickness, so if I have a headache that day, I’ll be depressed for the entire movie. I know, I sound like a really fun person. If my husband had wanted to see more Barbie, I think I would have gone too, but for now I’m happy to wait for it to come out on whatever streaming service it is.

As for the rest of my life, I’m starting to get really scared because time is passing so fast. September will fly by, and October will fly by. My husband and I both travel for most of the month, so we’ll be back in November in the blink of an eye. At that point, let’s be honest, 2023 is almost over.
