This week has flown by and I feel like I haven’t accomplished anything and I’m just trying to catch up. I had a few corporate visits this week for work and they always seem to take up half a day. We also have new employees and it always takes extra time to make sure they’re functioning properly. Today I felt like I didn’t have any time for myself until late in the afternoon. I know my job requires me to make time for others, but what makes me happiest is just interacting with clients, so when I have a week like this where I can’t do that, I feel my energy drain. I have about 3 hours tomorrow to get what I need done and then I’ll spend the rest of the afternoon with clients, so that’s good.
I applied this red on a day when I knew I needed a confidence boost and even though I left work feeling very down, it still turned out to be a great nail! There are a few core shades released in the iconic Nail Envy formula, but I actually use the Alpine Snow version a lot for my nail art!
I feel like I really need a break to get back to work as I haven’t had one since the beginning of April. I’m going to be taking some time off at the end of June/early July for my birthday so I’m really looking forward to it. For some reason, turning 41 feels a lot more exciting to me than the year I turned 40…maybe because I got shingles a few months ago and honestly have had a hellish year at work. 41 seems a bit more hopeful in a lot of ways.
