I’m writing this a little before it actually goes live, but this week is the start of the holiday season at work, so I’m expecting to be pretty tired today. He has events for clients all week, and there are busy times, so I tell myself that by the time I get home I’m tired and don’t want to do anything.

The Sally Hansen x Sesame Street collection was so cute that I ended up purchasing 5 different colors to match the characters and colors. The Elmo, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie shades were interesting, but they were more of a “fuzzy” type of matte glitter that I didn’t really like and didn’t use all that often, so I ended up buying the entire collection. It would have been really cute to have, but I decided to pass. I had originally planned to wear this unique metallic, slimy green color for Halloween, and although I sneaked it in at some point, I unfortunately never had the chance to actually do any nail art with it, but I still think it’s very pretty. Don’t you? It almost glows, which might be a little garish for Oscar the Grouch, but I’m glad Sally Hansen didn’t just paint it a creamy forest green for him. Because it’s a little boring. I’ll definitely use this shade again as it’s pretty pigmented, but I might have to wait until October 2024.
