I’m happy to have Sunday and Monday off, but I know I’ll be exhausted for the next 5 days. So I split my 2 days off so I can rest on Wednesday and Thursday, when I’m just starting to burn out. I try to conserve my energy at work, but after 3 days I can’t help but feel exhausted from being “on” for so long. I followed my therapist’s advice to focus my day on my clients, and things have been a bit better in the last 2 months. Clients really do take up a lot of my time – and in a good way.
Looking at this month’s nail polishes, it’s pretty clear that we’ve skipped spring and jumped straight into summer. I don’t know why I’m so hung up on summer this year, but ever since February I’ve wanted to jump right into June. This week’s #CBBxManiMonday was no exception, and all the colors I chose were from the summer collection. I’m a little disappointed that the black dots smudged, but it’s ok. I guess I just couldn’t wait for them to dry.
