Fenty has launched several new beauty and skincare products this summer, some of which are sure to be hits, and today we’re taking a look at swatches of them all.
New skin care products
A new foundation Softlit Naturally Luminous Foundation ($40). I tried all three colors, and so far the 260 and 265 are the best match. Demo version of the 260 The skin shown hereThis has a much better formula than the Pro Filt’r foundation, it’s easier to blend, isn’t too thick, and has a soft, radiant satin finish.
Coverage is medium to complete. Foundation Brush 145 The Fenty Foundation Brush ($36) is a game changer when it comes to foundation brushes. It’s similar in design to my favorite Laura Mercier foundation brush, but the Fenty one is a little smaller and denser. Both brushes are super soft to the touch and apply smoothly and evenly.
I am new to Fenty Skin. Hydra Visor Moisturizer SPF 30 ($36-40) is a really good moisturizer that conditions the skin while protecting it with SPF30. Colored version I will probably look for it in stores and try it. The texture is smooth and easy to blend. It doesn’t leave a white cast or pill. The active ingredients are Avobenzone 3%, Homosalate 9%, Octisalate 4.5%. I like it, but I’m not sure I would call it a must-have.
New Blush
I really love the new blushes that Fenty recently launched. The texture is super smooth and the shimmer isn’t too glittery or frosty, so I love it. Hot Cheeks Velour Blush Lighter ($26) A shimmering blush with an incredibly silky smooth and soft texture and beautiful shine.
Colors are for me NARS Orgasm lineup But it’s even better: Fenty’s blush shimmer is more refined and the texture is softer and silkier.
- Fresh Peach has a pink base with gold shimmer, and when I apply it to my skin the gold shimmer intensifies and it feels almost like a highlighter.
- Juicy Peach is a soft, shimmering golden peach with pink-orange pearly shimmer.
- Baked Peach is a deeper orange-peach glow, but not too orange.
Of the three, Fresh Peach is the most shimmery. The other two have more shimmer on the skin. These Hot Cheeks Velvet Blush Highlighters are Demiglow Light Diffusion Highlighter I’ve been curious about it for a while, but I haven’t tried it yet. Every time I go to the store I try it and want to buy it.
Anything new is A+ Fenty Hot Cheeks Velvet Blush LighterI hope they will consider making this scheme permanent.
New Lip Shades
Fenty has launched a new lip formula called “New Gloss Bomb Lip Oil ($26) and the ultimate Gross Bomb I’m addicted. It feels similar to the gloss bomb (almost the same), but the lip oil is a little smoother, a little more transparent, and smells like vanilla cake. $uperfine Suga (white gold) and Fro$ted Bunz (iridescent copper gold) have super fine shimmer and both have sheer pigments, while Coppa Cookie (metallic copper) has a more opaque pigment and metallic finish making it the most visible of the three.
It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I love the Fro$ted Bunz the most, I would wear it head to toe if I could.

New Liner
The only drawback for me is Gritty Lid Shimmer Liquid Liner ($24). The color is so beautiful, I wish it came in eyeshadow form instead of eyeliner. The only downside for me is that the liner takes a while to dry and stay in place. On me it stays creamy. I tried blending it all over the eyeshadow but couldn’t get it to blend well with my finger. It certainly can’t be moved around on the eye as a liner. I guess I’m just not used to liquid liners with a glossy finish.
Overall it’s a beautiful new product line. The color theme really does feel summery. I love the new lip oil and blush. Definitely worth adding to your summer beauty routine. Available to buy now. Sephora and Fenty Beauty.
