New Lip Balms 2.jpg

[unpaid/purchase/affiliate] A few weeks ago, I got all excited and applied five new lip balms: Tower 28, Rabanne, Causus, Nars, and an alternative to my favorite Charlotte Tilbury Crystal Happikis. This post will introduce two of them. I’ll introduce the rest next week.

Above are Love Language from Rabanne Love Balm and Squeeze from Tower 28 Juice Balm.

I tried Rabanne because it was recommended to me by a reader, and although it was quite difficult to choose a color since it’s pastel, I wasn’t disappointed with the texture. Once, when she heard “Love Language,” for some reason she thought of Claudia Winkleman. She is a milky pink color, but has a moderately gentle and really beautiful consistency that makes you feel comfortable and protected. It’s not a strong shine, I think it’s actually a satin finish, but it’s not dissimilar to Charlotte Tilbury Crystal Happikiss. 29 pounds (expensive) here You can choose from 5 colors. I can’t discern any scent other than a vaguely waxy scent.

Obviously, I’m totally excited about Tower 28’s Squeeze of Juice Balm – it’s very close to Rene Pink – my only complaint is that it has a little too much pigment. It’s so noisy! It has an increased luster and is extremely comfortable to wear. The twist-up mechanism creates a slightly sweet scent.

At 18 pounds, I thought it was very reasonable. here. Because of its quirky name, I always thought Tower 28 was Korean, but it actually comes straight from California, named after the lifeguard beach tower. Here you can see all the swatches of both. The bottom swatch is Rene Pink, and you can see it’s not far from Squeeze.
