Natalie surprised us with one last duo of the year. The 2022 “Mystery Christmas Duo” will be a pair of glitter bombs. One is a topper and the other is a full coverage glitter. This duo is in very limited quantities and will not be restocked (we’ll be heading into the holidays soon). I don’t have anything to show you, but I may need to order and pick it up. Let’s take a closer look at his last NNP release of the year, shall we?
What a versatile topper! I wasn’t sure what to use for the base, so I decided to keep it simple and white. 2023 is a clear-based topper with violet/red/gold shift flakes, pink/gold holo glitter, and black matte glitter. The flakes have a cool transparency. You won’t get full opacity after 3 coats, but it’s pretty close (from what I’ve seen from other people’s swatches). I didn’t have to dab the glitter or flakes, I just used normal strokes. Once it dries, it will leave some texture, so use a glitter top coat to smooth it all out.
