Hey Hey! I hope your week is going well. To be honest, my case wasn’t very good. I just lost my cat Clipsy in December and my other cat, Mr. Nose, who is almost 19 years old, is not doing well and we are worried and confused. That being said, there are many things that can brighten up your day, like nail polish. Manicures are my self-care routine and have been for decades. We hope that manicure is also a safe place for you.I brought something new tonight noodle manicure A garden collection to share with you. A 6-piece set of crelly and glitter toppers. It will be available starting this year They will be available for $10.50 each on the Noodle Nail Polish website on Friday, April 26th at 6pm EST.

As usual, this is going to be a photo-centric post, so let’s get started, shall we?

Best Techniques to Smooth and Remove Glitter *Updated 24/1/30*

Noodles manicures are always all about shine. We all love glitter, but removing it can be a pain. Oh, and I’ve also been known to eat top coats that leave texture on my nails after drying. If you’re particularly sensitive to the feel of your polish, try applying a thicker top coat or a second coat of thinner top coat.

Instead of applying two thick top coats, several indie brands are launching products that you can use after your last polish coat and before your top coat. These are generally thicker and will “fill in” the gaps left by the glitter. Here are some products I use and recommend (in no particular order).

2. Jerous From American Classics
3. criminally smooth Glitter Smoothing Top Coat (dries to a matte finish unlike the others)

6. Smooth and Shine Duo by Esmaltes da Kelly (available in Polish pickup some months)

To use these glitter-grabbing top coats, it’s best to let the polish dry for a few minutes before applying. If you apply the Glitter Grabber too quickly, your nail polish can eat up a bit of the Glitter Grabber, leaving you with a bit of nail polish texture even after you add a quick-drying top coat. Using it this way requires a little more patience, but it’s worth it.

We also use a peel-off base coat to make it easier to remove. It is recommended UNT ready for takeoff, Hit the Bottle Keepin’ It Peelor black dahlia lacquer Because they all work well (I’m not affiliated with any site or brand…I’m just sharing the love). Hit the Bottle can sometimes come off during the day, so UNT works better for my body chemistry. He seems to be having a hard time finding UNT these days. holo tacos One if you really need one. I understand that you want your polish to last a little longer. In that case, foil method It works best when you are ready for change.a clip like these Inexpensive and great for holding cotton balls in place. I hope this helps. Noodles Manicure Baby’s Breath (2 coats)

People don’t talk about baby’s breath anymore. Remember the 90’s when your bouquet always had baby’s breath in it? You can’t remember the last time you put flowers in there. Anyway, the Baby’s Breath nail polish is a white crelly base with soft green shimmer and metallic aqua/melon green/light gold shimmer in various hexagonal sizes. I especially love this shine. You may hear me call many of these polishes “soft”, perhaps because of the whites and muted pastel colors, so be careful. You know I love white crelly, and I’m sure you do too. It takes two coats to achieve full opacity, but since it has glitter in it, it leaves a texture when it dries.

Next up is another soft shade, blue hydrangea. This one is definitely on the purer side compared to the others. A translucent pale blue crelly base with green/blue shimmer, white and pale mint matte glitter, and lime/gold iridescent glitter. I applied three thin coats, but as you can see, you can still see a little bit under the nails. I couldn’t apply it any thicker. Otherwise, it will not dry properly. I expected it to be a little more blue on my nails, but when I applied it, it was very pale. This is not a negative, just an observation. This has a lot of glitter in it, so I recommend a top coat to smooth out the glitter on almost all items.

Next, I’d like to introduce you to one of my top picks from the collection, the Darling Dahlia. This one has a light cream crelly base color with metallic rose gold/melon green/copper glitter in various hexagonal sizes. I love this glitter color. There’s something really eye-catching about the combination of melon green and copper. Again, it only takes two coats to achieve full opacity and dries to give it a shimmery texture. I love it!

Noodles Manicure English Rose Thumb/Ring Finger/Pinky Finger (3 coats)

Index finger/middle finger 2 coats Zoya Cayley 1 coat lower English rose

Glitter topper time! However, you don’t have to use this as a topper. My photos show three coats of English rose as a topper or on its own. Honestly, I don’t know which one is better! English Rose is a variety of hexagonal clear based glitter toppers metallic rose gold/melon green/lavender/copper glitter and matte lavender glitter. I used it over a dusty lavender Zoya polish named Kaylee and I think it worked well. When used alone, we recommend using a combination of regular strokes and dabbing motions to ensure perfect glitter placement. If you are going to use it alone, you will definitely need a glitter smoothing top coat as I am not sure how smooth it will be after just two coats of top coat.

Another favorite from the collection is French Lavender. Matte, holo, and metallic lavender glitter shines on a pale green crelly base, and holos are scattered there. I never thought I would like mint green and lavender purple so much. I thought it would only take two coats, but depending on the application and the length of your nails, you may need a third coat like I did. It’s beautiful, but I don’t have anything that compares to it.

Noodles Manicure Secret Garden (2 coats)

Last but certainly not least, Secret Garden is a dusty medium purple crelly base with metallic rose gold/lilac/copper/light gold/aqua/melon green glitter and matte in various hexagonal sizes. Contains lavender glitter. This is a slightly larger lame size like a blue hydrangea. As always, Natalie works her magic to choose the right color combinations and create the perfect polish. This one is a little more opaque and only required two coats, but I would again recommend a top coat to smooth out the glitter if you want a smooth, fluffy look.

Come on, everyone! Noodle nail polish is definitely inspired by spring flowers and all the gardens we have coming up this summer. I hope you enjoy these swatches as much as I loved making them. My favorites are French lavender, English rose, and darling dahlia, but I’d love to know what your favorites are. Please do not forget. These go on sale this Friday, April 26th at 6pm EST, so set your alarms. YFor more information about Noodles Manicure, Website, instagram page, Facebook pageand Facebook fan group.
