One of the changes you’ll see in this set is the addition of a fan brush, as opposed to the wide square brushes that have been used in polishes for the past few years. Year. Stock has already been poured and the website still has the old brushes, but the new collection will include fan brushes. The cap and bottle are exactly the same. Brushes are not available as replacements, but other manufacturers sell brushes that you can purchase if you wish to replace them. Honestly, this new brush is a game changer. Applying has become really easy. Here is a photo of Natalie comparing the old and new.
Best Techniques to Smooth and Remove Glitter *Updated August 11, 2022*
Noodles manicures are always all about shine. We all love glitter, but removing it can be a pain. Oh, and I’ve also been known to eat top coats that leave texture on my nails after drying. If you’re particularly sensitive to the feel of your polish, try applying a thicker top coat or a second coat of thinner top coat.
Instead of applying two thick top coats, several indie brands are launching products that you can use after your last polish coat and before your top coat. These are generally thicker and will “fill in” the gaps left by the glitter. Here are some products I use and recommend (in no particular order).

Noodles Manicure Heartbreaker (2 coats)
Knowing my feelings towards flaky polishes, it’s no surprise that Heartbreaker is my favorite and I love it. Deep gray crelly base with fuchsia/gold/orange shift flakes, pink holo and metallic glitter, and a bit of silver holo glitter. In the photo I used two thicker coats, but you may need a third coat if you use a thinner coat. I applied a glitter top coat on top, but it might be okay to apply just one coat of top coat. Many of the flaky polishes these days cost over $13, so this one is a bargain at just $10.50.
If you want a polish that gives you lots of sparkly hearts, definitely go for True Love. Look how many hearts I won! I left it upside down for 15-20 minutes before applying it, and since I do that with all my larger polishes that have a lot of glitter, the special shaped glitters never looked so good! It rarely comes out much. True Love is a clear glitter topper with white matte mini hearts and glitter, gold metallic, pink holo, and magenta matte glitter. I used yellow as an accent color, but I think it would be easy to match with a variety of colors as long as it is a base color. I recommend doing the QDTC after the glitter top coat as this will get a lot of texture as it dries.
Noodles Manicure You Complete Me (2 coats)
Last, but certainly not least, we have Yukon Pleasure Me, which has pink matte glitter in various shades and sizes on a milky pink crelly base. This is basically Valentine’s Day in a bottle. Even after years of swatching, I still love pink polishes. Application was very easy (especially with the new fan brush) and he only needed two coats of thickness to get it completely opaque. It’s textured and drying, so this time I’m going to apply that shimmery top coat again to boost my bust.
