It still feels like summer, but fall is finally here! We’ve rounded up some of our plum-toned beauty favorites for the upcoming fall. Most of these are from my current stash, but there are some new ones I’ve tried and lots of swatches. If you’re like me and love neutral makeup, but want to try something a little bolder, here are some that I think are really easy to use.

dior addict lip maximizer in Berry 006 is probably my favorite among all the shades. It’s a bright purple plum, which makes it more wearable (but not as much as Vampire).More shades and full review here.
U beauty lip plasma compound It’s been a favorite for a while and I really enjoy the shade. Cassis It’s a black plum. It’s a balm/gloss style so it fades within a few hours, but the beauty of this is that it’s more forgiving of fading on the lips.
clinique black honey is a classic.of pop plush gloss I apply it semi-thickly, but it blends in well.of almost lipstick It’s quite thin on the hands, but leaves a plum-like impression on the lips.
bobbi brown luxe lipstick One of the most underrated classic lipsticks. hook up It’s a perfect opaque plum tone and feels very appealing.
Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm Her glossy, transparent lips are beautiful. impulse It’s plum red lure A classic plum.
Chanel Rouge Coco Baume One of my favorite sheer plum lips. If you don’t usually wear bold lipsticks but want to try out more colors, I think this is a must-try lipstick. fall for me It’s a beautiful reddish plum (swatched here on the lips). sweets (On the lips in this post) Very pretty berry.
Eye makeup recommendations
I like to pair warm eyes with a plum lip so the purple tones don’t overwhelm the entire look. If you want to add warm colors that are not too dark, hourglass scattered light eyeshadow Blaze and Rapture are beautiful. I bought it years ago and use it often, but it has yet to hit the pan.

She looked at the new formula and thought she was fine. The color is still very pretty, but I think the original formula was better.
Mauve/Plum Blush
Plum tones are hard to pull off on my skin tone, so I often choose mauve instead.
hourglass ambient lighting blush It’s really beautiful. I love Mood Exposure and At Night.
Many people missed out on the Chanel Fall Douceur D’Equinox Beige Rose et Mauve Blush and were looking for a replacement. No exact match was found, but gucci beauty blush Beige Rose is close (slightly brighter and more glossy; I’ve reviewed other Gucci blushes here and here).
For true plum/purple blush lovers, I also recommend Victoria Beckham Beauty Sassy and Classy fame and Tarte Maneater Blush With raspberry for comparison.
