Hey Hex Squad! Today I’m sharing some Pride makeup looks and inspiration for 2024. The first makeup look in this post is the first Pride makeup look I did for 2024. Colored mascara is so much fun, so I used pink and blue mascara for my bisexual pride look.
A note from Cordelia
It’s painful to see search engine changes redirecting a lot of the traffic that once came to sites like my blog. If you enjoy this journey with me and want to keep the magic alive, please share my posts on platforms like Reddit, Pinterest, Quora, LinkedIn, etc. Every share spreads the love and keeps the community thriving. Why Pride Matters
If you’re wondering why Pride is important, it’s because there are still people who believe it’s better to die than to be queer. No one should be bullied because of where they’re born or because they’re queer.
According to The Trevor Project, LGBTQIA2S+ young people are more than four times more likely to attempt suicide than their peers. If you need help, The Trevor Projectis available 24/7. It’s a great company to donate to if you want to support the queer community. And this is not a sponsored post by The Trevor Project. I love what they do!

Eye How-To
This is actually a very quick and easy eye makeup look to create, but it is an impactful eye look.
- After applying primer, I used an angled brush to apply the black matte to the base of my upper lashes and then flicked it out in a feathery motion towards the end of my brows.
- Using a smoky liner brush, I blended the purple matte onto the inner lid near the lash line and then extended it out towards the end of the brow.
- Using another smoky liner brush, I blended the hot pink into the purple and applied it over the outer lid and towards the end of the brow.
- I dipped a large, fluffy brush into both Cold and New and applied a thin layer to my eyelids, working my way up towards my brows to create a soft, subtle transition shade.
- After applying the glitter primer, use your fingertips to dab the purple glitter onto your lid and blend.
- I used matte black again to add dimension to the outer wings.
- Using a small shading brush, I applied Asterion to my lower lid.
- Using a flat liner brush, I stamped Inner World on my lower lid near the bottom lash line.
- Nyx Quartz Queen is great to use on the inner corner of the eye and on the lower lash line to add a little brightening.
- After curling my lashes, I applied ShantaQuilette to my top lashes and Nola on my bottom lashes.

What is the difference between bisexual and pansexual?
Let’s clarify some terminology. Bisexuality and pansexuality are both wonderful ways that an individual can experience attraction beyond the gender binary, but each has their own unique characteristics. Bisexuality is commonly described as being attracted to more than one gender. A bisexual person may be attracted to different genders in different ways and to different degrees.
Pansexuality, on the other hand, is a category of bisexuality where you are attracted to people regardless of their gender. Pansexual people often describe their feelings of attraction rather than their gender identity. Both identities have many possibilities.
Honestly, pick your favorite flag and go with it. In my case, I love the bisexual flag with its purple inclusion, but some people love the pansexual flag in yellow.
