Despite the heatwave predicted here in the Bay Area, today I’m trying to give you a sense of fall. It looks like it will be 93 today! Wow!
I originally planned to take Connor to the pumpkin patch, but I think it would be too hot. It could be a pool day instead.
Hey, I’m going to take this heatwave as a chance for one last hurrah!
Now, remember when I talked about crocheting earlier this week? Oubre seems to be suitable for beginners. Have you heard of this line? I’d love to try it, but it seems expensive for what you get.
Am I crazy to think that $30 is a lot for a little yarn, hooks, stuffing, an intro video, and other small accessories? You might say that learning the skill is worth the initial cost. . Having said that, rabbits are pretty cute.
Before I head out for my second cup of coffee (I live on the edge of a cliff!), I just wanted to share one more thing. Because I’m so glad I did it. Everything that happened last month made me realize that I need to take better care of myself, so I did absolutely nothing yesterday afternoon. I just rested.
I sat on the couch, painted my nails in a dark, moody fall shade (Chaenl 141 Oiseau De Nuit), and watched the Benecio del Toro thriller Reptile on Netflix.
Anyway, just a little reminder that rest is good.
