Finally! A sunny week. 🌞
This is a very fun time in the Bay Area. It’s still a bit winter, but we usually get a ridiculously perfect weeks in late February. The low-light and clear from the late 1960s to the 1970s.
We have been raining more than usual for the third year in a row, including this.
I know it’s temporary, but for three years the weather was retro normal. The trees are healthy again, streams and rivers flowing – that’s strange!
This is when one of my Tabby’s favorite flowers bloomed. Tulips! He loved largely Everything about them. (Because “almost” he didn’t like the fact that they were toxic.)
I love Rosie this time of year too.
It’s not spring, but it’s not winter deaths either. During these unseasonably warm weeks, the grass begins to grow, the oak trees begin to bloom, and the squirrels are flying… squirrels, butterflies and birds.
There are lots of activities!
Marnie has no strong opinion on that either way…
Certainly, she likes to go outside for long walkies, but really, she’s fine with a treadmill.
She’s not too noisy about her training. 😆
