We’ve compiled a list of our beauty favorites for September! Fall has officially arrived, but with the beauty sets and holiday launches already starting, it feels like we’re skipping this season and jumping right into the holidays. I’ll be sharing some new beauty product launches soon, but for now, here are my favorites from September.
New favorite foundation brush
My favorite discoveries this month are: laura mercier real foundation brush ($46).For some reason this brush doesn’t seem to be available everywhere even though it was launched in a new version authentic perfect foundation (I’m wearing shade 3N1 Buff). This is definitely the best foundation brush I’ve tried.even better than that Hourglass Vanish Seamless Foundation Brush.

The brush is angled and teardrop shaped so it glides along the angles of your face for perfect foundation application. The teardrop shape makes it easy to get product into detailed areas and corners perfectly. I wonder why no one has made a brush like this before.
The application of the foundation is smooth and even. I like the length of the bristles on the brush, neither too short nor too long.can be found at Laura Mercier or Macy’s (If you find it elsewhere, please let us know.)
Beauty favorites on a budget
This month we’re introducing some of our low-cost beauty favorites! These aren’t new (some of which I’ve reviewed before), but I wanted to put them on my radar because they’re too good to pass up.
of Elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter One of the best glowing skin enhancers I’ve tried. More shades have been added recently, so you might find a better color now. I wear shades 3 or 4, so when 3.5 Medium Neutral Olive was added, I thought a color in between would be good, so I ordered it. I think shade 4 is best for me at the moment, as 3.5 is more olive-toned, but you can mix it up with other shades as well.
The shine is not very bright. It can be worn alone or mixed with foundation and used all over the face. At the moment, the new shades are: elf cosmetics and ulta beauty.I think they will roll out new shades the goal etc. soon.

their Super Stay 24H Skin Tint Foundation It 100% lives up to the hype for a long-lasting fluid foundation. I don’t do much research on budget/affordable foundations because most foundations have too pink or peachy undertones. The good news is that more brands are offering better shade options and ranges these days. I was happy to find something that perfectly matches Shade 310. However, please note that this is pretty high on the list for those who are sensitive to alcohol in foundation. Luckily this didn’t irritate my skin.
The staying power is really impressive even in humid weather. I didn’t test it for a full 24 hours, but 12 hours lasted pretty well. It’s a fluid formula with medium coverage but can be layered. The coverage looks natural with a subtle glow and has enough pigment to give your skin great coverage.
I also really like it Superstay matte hybrid powder foundation (in the same shade). It has quite a bit of coverage, but I like to use it as a setting powder with a brush.product demo action here.
lip loves
dior addict lip maximizer It’s always in my bag. Shimmer Rose, Rosewood, and Rose Nude are the colors I wear the most (Rose Nude gets the most compliments).Dior has just been released 3 new shades Posted online for the holidays Quick reel with them here. For those who missed it, I will share it on this blog as well. Nude Bloom is the prettiest peachy pink nude with a slight golden sheen. Pure Copper is an amazingly shiny copper (sparkly and super sparkly, but smooth in texture), and Holo Silver is a sheer silver.

Three other formulas I like are:
YSL Rouge Volupte Shine 162 Pulsing Rosehip (one of the best healthy flush pinks I’ve tried) and 150 Nude Lingerie (a warmer pink glow, almost looks peach next to 162, but it’s pink) (can be guaranteed).
New shades added to Tarte maracuja juicy lip plump. I have to share an updated swatch post, but the newest shade, Rosebud, is so pretty. It’s the best thing they’ve ever made.Some sets are also available like this duo.
of maybelline lifter gloss is a formula you may already know, but I rediscovered it and put it on my list of favorites this month. I bought the jelly shade that was released in the summer and I love it. The peach ring and gummy bear are so cute. I also restocked some of the items I used up. Leaf is the perfect light neutral.
bath & body care
Two of my favorite body care items are from Ouai and Herbivore Botanicals. What we have been using is Oai Fur Bebe Pet Shampoo With Ollie, it always smells so good after washing. I was hoping there would be a human option for the same scent, but there wasn’t.
i already tried Melrose Place I used to (and liked it) but wanted to try something new so I ordered it dean street. It’s a very nice fruity floral that isn’t too sweet. Balanced by linden flowers and a touch of amber. It has a clean, fresh scent and I liked it so much that I bought several refills.
Herbivore Botanicals sent me a few things to try out for my project.i really love them nova serum And now I’m interested in the other serums in the lineup.What stands out to me are them cloud milk coconut firming body cream.I fell in love with them coconut bath milk soak I was very excited about the body cream for a long time.
A cream that is as smooth as silky butter and feels as light as a cloud. It has a slight coconut and vanilla scent, but it’s not too strong. As a quick reference, if you like the texture of Kopari Cream but don’t like the strong scent or super thick texture, I think Herbivore is a better option. It’s creamy and hydrating, yet absorbs quickly, isn’t greasy, and isn’t overly scented.
autumn manicure
I’ve been in the neutral nail polish era for so long that I feel it’s time for a change. What I took out was Chanel Le Vernis, 165 Bois des Iles Once again (revisited) Click here for the fall collection) and I’m really surprised by all the praise and attention it’s receiving!
Other makeup enthusiasts
For cheeks (blush, bronzer, highlight), I often use the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Palettes (reviewed here ). My favorites keep going back and forth between Jellyfish and Leopard. Even with the repeating shades and similarities, I reach for these the most and find them to be very versatile. Available now at all retailers including: nordstrom, sephora, blue mercury and ulta beauty.

perfume favorite
celine parade It’s in heavy rotation. It has a beautiful citrus scent and I think it’s very unique and different. You can read my reviews about all perfumes in this post. I’ve tried others over the past year, but Parade is still my favorite.
hair care
Last but not least, what I wanted to give is GHD Platinum Plus Hair Styler Another mention. This is my go-to hairstyling used to create silky smooth hair and waves. As much as I love you, Dyson Airwrap For easy waves, the curls won’t last as long as with hot tools. (However, I do use it regularly as a blow dryer.) I carry the GHD flat iron with me every time I travel and it’s great for styling my hair. I was thrilled to work with them again and show them a demo of how to curl hair. For me this is especially helpful. Because I’m not good at curling my hair with a curling iron. I almost always burn my fingers and forehead, and a few times my iron was too hot and my hair burned off.
The GHD Platinum+ styler maintains a constant temperature of 365 degrees. There is a sensor inside to maintain a constant temperature.
