We made it through the first week of 2024 successfully. Do we remember much? Or maybe some of you were still on Christmas break? My husband won’t officially be back at work until tomorrow, and there seems to be less traffic than usual in the morning. So I guess that’s probably the case with a large portion of the population, but I’m not. I’ve been working for 4 days (Thank goodness I still have New Year’s Day off), so I’m tired. Unfortunately, I think the next few weeks of this month will be quite stressful for both myself and the team, and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to handle it. I’m a little scared that I won’t be able to cope with it or that I’ll want to run away. We’ll see how I cope and if I find a way to deal with the stress. Luckily there’s always a sheet mask so I’m hoping my skin doesn’t betray me like it has for the past few months, but perhaps this is my body telling me to be kinder to myself. It must have been!

What’s special about this mask?this Daft & Doft This mask first caught my eye because the packaging looked very similar to the It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Mask from back in the day. The packaging has since changed, but when I was browsing this little Korean store in Montreal, I initially thought the mask was actually It’s Skin Power 10. Daft & Doft still exists, but they no longer make sheet masks. Instead, we added a little skincare and moved more into fragrance, bath and body.

This mask uses bamboo, tea, and rose flower extracts and two types of hyaluronic acid to be incredibly hydrating and soothing. It also contains other beneficial ingredients such as hydrolyzed collagen, ceramide, cica, chamomile, and peony extract.

Mask overview:

Final verdict: This mask was very moisturizing so I will only keep this for very dry nights or Montreal weather. Some part of me wonders if the Power 10 mask is similar, but luckily I get to try it and I’ll let you all know.
