what i bought

Before the pandemic, I think I asked a friend to buy me a set of Ulta Eye Due Care sheet masks. His 14-day routine, which he was planning to review soon, has now taken him five years. But that’s because, you know, I got distracted between the pandemic and life and everything else.

While many of the other sheet masks featured here are older, this set is actually still available for purchase. When I first saw it, I thought it would be good as a small starter kit since it includes 14 sheet masks tailored for a two-week continuous sheet masking routine. To tell you the truth, if you use them all, (whispering quietly) As for the results, I couldn’t tell much of a difference between the two… They’re good masks, but the differences in my experience were very slight, so I won’t do a full breakdown of them.

All masks fit exactly the same and are made from biodegradable eucalyptus fibers, which are a bit stiffer than most Korean sheet masks, but the overall fit is still comfortable.

Stay up all night

What’s special about this mask? This essence contains high concentrations of niacinamide, lime, fig, and pomegranate extracts, making it more than halfway through the ingredient list. Overall, I found this mask to be reasonably refreshing on the skin with a light sticky finish.

relax

What’s special about this mask? It’s meant to soothe stressed skin, and contains allantoin and mugwort extract, a favorite in Korean skincare, to soothe the skin. In fact, I found this mask to be brighter than Up All Night (or maybe it was just really stressing out my skin while using it!) and it was zero sticky.

Olive Bout You

What’s special about this mask? This mask does contain olive extract, but it’s not until past the middle of the ingredient list. Most of the highest concentration ingredients are not plant-based and are humectants or emollients.

This essence surprised me as it was milky compared to all the others which were clear and watery. It also had a very fresh floral scent and the mask seemed to fit a little better with this thick consistency. The milky essence left a light sticky feeling on the skin.

time warp

What’s special about this mask? The featured ingredient, acai fruit extract, is in the middle of the ingredients list, and like the previous olive mask, it contains non-plant-based ingredients that are primarily moisturizers and emollients. The mask is very moisturizing and although I couldn’t tell a difference in the firmness of my skin, it did leave it feeling very plump!

morning dew

What’s special about this mask? This is a moisturizing mask that contains lotus flower extract, which makes up about half of the ingredient list. Since this is a highly moisturizing mask, I was expecting it to be more sticky, but that wasn’t the case.

within the zone

What’s special about this mask? This mask has a calming and pore-tightening effect and contains soothing chamomile, lime, orange, apple, lemon, grape, and tea tree extracts. In terms of ingredient concentration, this mask was one of the best. Also, I was expecting a non-sticky finish from this mask, but it was actually quite moisturizing with a medium-sticky finish.

Final verdict: I don’t think I’ll buy the whole box again, but I liked the Olive and In the Zone masks so much that I plan to buy them on their own.

The I Due Care Let’s Get Sheet Faced Sheet Mask Set is available at various mail order retailers.
