What’s special about this mask? Of course the fact that there are two! On the left is a sheet mask for oily skin made from Sarkandra grava, an herb native to Southeast Asia, and on the right is a 100% rose fiber mask for dry skin. I think the oily skin mask is for “him” and the more “feminine” dry skin mask is for “her,” but I know my husband has the same dry skin as me, so I’m sure he’ll find the one that suits him best. Please choose something.

The second thing that makes this mask special is its very unique ingredients like star anise, rose, pearl extract, and my favorite, salmon DNA. I did a little research on this ingredient and found that it is thought to rejuvenate the skin and is basically hyaluronic acid and polynucleotides taken from salmon sperm. Yes, you read that correctly! So this mask is by no means vegan, and I’m not sure you necessarily need to look for a mask like this, considering how you can get hyaluronic acid in less “creative” ways.

Mask fit: There are a few wrinkles around the chin, but other parts are in good condition. Obviously, my husband has a beard, so the mask didn’t fit him perfectly, but from the top it fit fine.

Stickiness: light

Hydration: very good! Even though we were using different masks, it was incredibly moisturizing for both of us!

Final verdict: I really liked the concept of this mask in terms of the packaging and the two masks in one. The results were very good in terms of moisturizing the skin, but I feel that the biggest selling point of this mask is its “couple nature”!
