As I write this, I am suffering from a sudden winter cold. Yesterday, while I was at work, around 1pm, my chest started feeling very itchy and congested. I thought it was because the store was so dry due to the cold and heat, but when I woke up I felt the same stuffy nose and my voice was now a “sexy phone voice”. Talking about it made me want to cough uncontrollably. I wasn’t feeling well today so I had to email, so I’m going to use my inner voice over the weekend in hopes of feeling better by Monday. Now I don’t think there’s any value in “getting over” an illness. If you have a manager who can take your place, I’ll take time off when I can!
I bought a mask from this brand, and most of all, the packaging was really cute. It’s a great flatlay prop and has served me well, but it’s finally time (and deadline) to use and enjoy this mask.
So what’s so special about this mask? The whole idea behind this series of masks was to include ingredients found in tea in this mask. Therefore, the ingredients include white tea extract, licorice root extract, ginger root extract, and the featured ingredient hibiscus extract. Note that this latter ingredient is near the bottom of the list.

Missha masks have a good overall fit, and for the price, I am always satisfied with the “service” they provide.
Mask overview:
price: 4 dollars
function: revitalize the skin
scent: very faint
Essence type: It’s clear and a little slimy, but it’s not terrible.
interval: half an hour
Thickness: thin
Mask fit: It’s okay if the mask just gets into your hairline a little bit.
Stickiness: light
Hydration: It was great because I didn’t have to apply moisturizer afterwards.
Other notes: Not applicable
Final verdict: I think this mask would have been more moisturizing, not because of the featured botanical ingredients, but because it had a very high concentration of castor oil and glycerin, but considering the price of this mask, I don’t care. It’s one of those really fun masks, and if you get deeper skin care benefits, that’s a bonus.
Unfortunately, I don’t think these masks are in stock anymore, but thankfully Missha has lots of other great masks.
