Today we’re going to take you back in time in a big way with Pacifica sheet masks that come in very colorful and attractive packaging. Because I’ve been avoiding sheet masks for the last three weeks because I’ve developed a small rash on my face (by small I mean 4mm circle on my chin). The cream I used before didn’t work, so I’m currently treating it with a steroid cream, and it really works! In the meantime, this means you’ll get to see archival photos of a dark-haired Jayne. Because yes, I still have the sheet mask I didn’t talk about 4 years ago!
I got these four Pacific masks in Maine on my last trip (so before the pandemic…). I’m pretty sure I used it as part of my Earth Day theme in April 2019, but of course I never got around to posting it. Mainly because while I liked the packaging, I didn’t really like the fit. These were the first sheet masks that Pacifica released, and they caused a bit of a stir at the time because they were vegan, phthalate-free, and had a really solid ingredient list.

In addition to the ingredients, these masks all look the same, with heart-shaped eye holes. Yes, this is a mask that will literally make your eyes look lovey-dovey!

What’s special about this mask? Ingredient #4 is the antioxidant vitamin C, followed by pomegranate, green tea, blue-green algae, kelp, chlorella, and banana extract. Sounds like the most delicious skin smoothie! Again, the ingredients were solid, unique (as far as sheet mask ingredients go), and the right concentration.

What’s special about this mask? Although this mask had the shortest ingredient list of the quad, it still had green tea, caffeine, coconut, and chamomile extract all at the top of the ingredient list. I really liked the calming colors. I also really liked the packaging.

What’s special about this mask? This is an exfoliating mask that uses papaya enzymes to clear your skin in addition to brightening your skin with vitamin C, pomegranate, green tea, and pineapple extracts.

I really liked this mask especially since it said it would provide oil-free hydration, but it was too oil-free for me.

Final verdict: The fit of these wasn’t great, but the ingredients were very good. I wish there was more essence in the packet as medium thickness masks tend to absorb more. Therefore, the essence should be 30mL instead of 20mL. There are some new sheet masks out there and like a collector, I want to try them all. The packaging is so cute and I have to say that Disobey Time is my favorite group, but I really liked all the scents.
