How is everyone? Is the holiday coming up? Or is this your favorite time of the year? I really like the money-making aspect and how cheerful people are in general, but I’m scared of the bad mood that comes in January…people get extra grumpy or in follow-up mode. I will. For now, while enjoying the Christmas magic, I’d like to introduce you to some interesting sheet masks from Sephora Collection…

What’s special about this mask? This is a two-part mask, which felt a little strange for a mask that isn’t a hydrogel or “rubber-like” texture, but again, I like the Klairs mask, which ensures a good fit. In order to do so, it is divided into two parts. This mask focuses on instant whitening and improving skin texture with vitamin C. Vitamin C (ascorbyl glucoside) is at the top of the ingredient list, so that’s the point!

Ingredients: Aqua (water), butylene glycol, glycerin, ascorbyl glucosidePolyglyceryl-10 laurate, 1,2-hexanediol, hydroxyacetophenone, inositol, glycosyltrehalose, sodium polyacryloyldimethyltaurate, potassium hydroxide, hydrogenated starch hydrolyzate, parfum (fragrance), xanthan gum, Ananas sativus (pineapple) fruit extract, lecithin, sorbitan caprylate, sodium hyaluronate, sodium dilauramide glutamide lysine, O-cymen-5-ol, Citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract.

A very simple sheet mask that promises revitalized skin in just 5 minutes. Of course you need to get your money’s worth so I left it on for 15-20 minutes. The fabric of the mask was quite thin and it dried quickly as there wasn’t much essence in the packaging or it wasn’t absorbed into the mask. By the end of the 20 minutes, I noticed that certain areas of the mask were dry.

I didn’t like that the masks didn’t overlap, leaving a gap between my cheeks. Everything seemed to be in place, but there was a gap there that was really annoying.

Mask fit: Not the best. There was a lot of extra mask on the sides, and the two pieces didn’t overlap or line up perfectly, leaving gaps in between.

Stickiness: none

Hydration: light. In humid climates and summers, you can do without a moisturizer, but in this winter weather you don’t have a chance.

Other notes: I wore this mask for 20 minutes and felt dryness in certain areas.

Final verdict: The positive reviews for the mask on Sephora were mostly motivated and I feel like the people who gave this mask good reviews probably haven’t tried sheet masks in as many years as I have, so I What I can say is that it worked great. I liked that it had a shine and was not sticky after I took it off. It’s also a quick mask, so it’s very suitable to do in the morning or before makeup. But I don’t understand why this had to be two masks. The fabric is thin so it comes in one piece, but it’s really troublesome to spread out two thin masks. At least with the Klairs mask, it was thicker so it was easier to spread. I won’t be buying this mask again and when it comes to sheet masks from Sephora, I’ll stick to regular full face masks.
