I was going to put up a Sheet Mask Sunday post on Sunday, but I was busy with household chores and errands, and by the time I had time to sit quietly, I was already ready for a nap! Then I had dinner and watched season 3. Clarkson’s FarmTime to shower and finally get my nails done. I can’t touch anything for a few hours so I can’t do anything. That said, I have Monday off so I’m treating myself to the luxury of catching up with these two sheet masks starting now. Tony Moly!
What’s so special about this mask? This mask has grape extract about halfway through the ingredients list, with white tea, ginger, and licorice root extract near the bottom of the list. Tonymoly masks are generally very affordable, so the ingredients are fine, but there’s no biggie at the top of the list. Grape extract not only smooths the skin, but also tightens pores.
I always find Tony Moly masks to be an amazing bargain considering the price, the material is always thin, stretchy and soft.
Mask Overview:
price: 3.50 Canadian Dollars
function: Smoothes skin and reduces the appearance of pores
scent: It looks like grapes!
Essence type: Transparent, slightly viscous
interval: 25 min
thickness: thin
Mask Fit: It’s pretty good, but I think if there were slits in the eye holes it would help the mask fit better over the bridge of your nose.
Stickiness: none
Hydration: It was decently hydrating, but I also wanted a sleeping mask, so I layered the Clarins Cryomask on top.
Additional notes: N/A
Cucumber | Sedative*
What’s so special about this mask? This mask has soothing cucumber extract about halfway down the ingredients list, and it also contains the same botanicals as the grape mask, like ginger, licorice, and white tea extracts. Both masks also contain silicones, which is probably why they don’t feel sticky when you peel them off.

scent: It looks like a cucumber!
Essence type: Transparent, slightly viscous, milky white

Final Verdict: It may not be the best sheet mask in terms of ingredient concentration, but I’ve always liked Tonymoly for its price, overall quality, and the fact that it’s fun for everyone to use. It’s a beginner-friendly sheet mask with attractive packaging, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who’s been using masks for a while like me, or to those who are just starting out.
Tonymoly Fresh to Go sheet masks can be found at various Kbeauty e-retailers.
