VT cosmetics is not a new brand, but it has taken the skincare world by storm with its Reedle Shot in various concentrations. I promise to review this soon. Before we get started on Reedle Shot, I wanted to gently reintroduce you to the brand, starting with their new 3-step sheet mask line (as you know, I love a good multi-stepper!). The first mask focuses on soothing, smoothing and plumping.
What’s special about this mask? I guess you should ask, what is missing from this mask? This mask contains cica, retinol, grape seed extract, bakuchiol, white tea extract, hyaluronic acid, and peptides, to name a few. All of these ingredients address different skin care concerns step by step. Don’t be afraid of retinol. All three steps were very gentle and didn’t cause any irritation to my skin.
The first step is a sheet mask that’s as soft as a baby’s bottom and incredibly comfortable and cozy to wear. There were a few wrinkles, but they were very soft so please forgive me!
Step 3 is a night cream that focuses on barrier function and moisture. For this step, I definitely felt very shiny after applying this. Be sure to take your time to let this all sink in. I also liked that it didn’t have a sticky finish, which is common with multi-stage sheet masks. What I liked was that my skin tone looked more even and I think the whole process was worth it. The night cream had a strong floral scent, but it disappeared after a few seconds. While I slept, my skin didn’t stick to the pillow at all, but when I woke up in the morning, there was still a fair amount of makeup left on my skin, so it took me a while to wash my face.

Final verdict: I’m glad I trusted all three steps because my skin looked so bright, even-toned, and healthy. My cheeks were more red than usual, but this mask quickly made it disappear. I will definitely buy this mask again!
