what i bought
I was hoping to blog more this month, but I’ve been working so much this season that I’m really tired, so I decided to take a little break (and a nap) to catch up. I have today off until Sunday, so I think I’ll be feeling a lot better by the time Monday rolls around. I started my day with a Dior facial (which was amazing) and a little retail therapy at Holt Renfrew. I had to fight downtown traffic at noon to get home (damn it) and do some grocery shopping, but I haven’t been able to do anything for the past 1.5 weeks, have lunch, and then watch a movie right away. I fell asleep for an hour. good place. All in all, a good start to my recovery!
Everyone was making a fuss VT cosmetics I’ve been using their Reedle Shot for a while now (I’ll write a review when I feel like it) and I’ve been using this brand since before it suddenly became famous, but their products are suddenly much better than they used to be. I have to say it got interesting. You were expecting it! Today’s sheet mask is another one of the 3 steppers that focuses on whitening!

What’s special about this mask? All three steps are chock-full of delicious ingredients, with ascorbic acid in the top half of the ingredient list, along with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, brightening glutathione, vitamin E, madecassoside, and tons of plant-based ingredients. Masu.

I was expecting the essence to be more water based but it wasn’t. It came out as a thick cream, so I found that doing all three steps gave me a very strong moisturizing effect.

I love the texture of this mask! Although it said it was a “gel sheet mask,” it actually felt like a jelly mask and adhered well to the skin, which was fun.
Mask overview:
price: $7 Canadian dollar
function: Intensely brightens and moisturizes
scent: The mask itself smells like orange, but the essence and moisturizer smell more medicinal.
Essence type: transparent, light and viscous
interval: half an hour
Thickness: Thin to medium
Mask fit: Although there are some wrinkles around the chin, it is clean.
Stickiness: expensive
Hydration: intense!
Other notes: I couldn’t sleep on my stomach because I was stuck to the pillow!
Final verdict: Based on how glowing my skin looked and how steps 1 and 3 smelled, I found that repeated use of this mask helped me over time lol! I should have started earlier in the night because my skin was still sticky after an hour and it was difficult to sleep on my side. But I really liked the ingredients in all three steps, so I believe in this mask and would like to give it another chance!
