I was very good at keeping up with sheet mask Sunday posts and I don’t know what happened! I think I was very confused by the question of what was going on in the South and that it was that we all felt it was not appropriate to talk about beauty. Well, things have settled into a baseline of uncertainty. My brain will adapt to this “new norm” and I’d like to talk again about skincare and makeup. Sunshine is also helping Vancouver go smoothly in the spring (hope the people of the East along with your snow).
I haven’t tried any masks that deserve a new review recently, but the last mask I tried was from now on VT Cosmetics It caught my eye as it contains a second layer of plastic and is part of VT Cosmetic’s Leader Shot series.

What makes this mask so special? The essence comes in both reedl and glutathione, and there is a plastic sheet similar to the thin plastic bags I found at the grocery store. It’s a gimmick, but if it works well otherwise, it was fun, right?
If you try a foil mask, there is no airflow, so you can see how hot it will be when worn. Expect the same feeling with this mask. But the relief you feel when you peel off that plastic is amazing! It’s like “Ah, cold air!”
Mask overview:
price: $7 CDN
What it does: Moisturizes, smooths and adds glow to the skin
scent: there is nothing
Essence Type: Clear, light and viscous
interval: half an hour.
Thickness: I made the mask thinner by myself, but the plastic cover was thinner than the foil mask.
Mask fit: Really good!
Adhesiveness: Medium
Hydration: expensive. I didn’t want to add more hydration!
Other notes: n/a
Final Verdict: This mask was very moist and took some time for the essence to absorb. I definitely didn’t use this mask in the summer, but not in medium to high humidity periods, but when the temperature subsides in the winter, I definitely will use this again! I don’t know how effective a steam wrap is, but it adds warmth to the mask when you put it on. Like a small sauna some of you might like!
