Let me start this review by saying that I can’t really compare it to the previous formula of the Shiseido Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting Foundation. Because I couldn’t get the shade right and didn’t test it properly.
But now that it contains more skin care ingredients and has longer staying power, I was really keen to try this. Honestly, this was an instant hit and every time I wore this (which I’ve been doing every day for over a week), I didn’t need concealer at all.
I really love how it instantly perfects and evens out my skin tone, yet makes my skin look so naturally glowing. I always reach for concealer, but this formula makes me feel like I don’t need concealer, which is really impressive.
It provides instant coverage with minimal amount of product and is totally easy to blend. Wear time is great. They stay securely in place all day long and won’t chafe where your glasses rest. This is a big bonus.
The finish is super flattering. With a beautiful, naturally shiny satin finish, the finish stays fresh all day long. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, and this formula suits my skin really well.
Just half a pump is enough to combat pigmentation, redness, pores, and fine lines without worsening texture or uneven tone. I like it very much.

What skin types is it suitable for?
This foundation is suitable for all skin types, but with the added skin care ingredients, I think this is a dewy one that is suitable for mature and dry skin types.
Does it need to be powdered?
I didn’t find it necessary to apply powder, but it still stays on all day.
Is it easy to apply and how do I apply it?
With this foundation, less is more. I use about half a pump, then buff and blend, Leeson No.1 Brush. This combination is easy to make.

A foundation that provides full coverage with minimal amount. I think it has a pretty wide coverage area and is very easy to make.
What does the finish look like?
Shiseido’s Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting Foundation has the most beautiful finish. Shining naturally. Do you mean satin?
Is it also suitable for dry or mature skin types?
Yes, I am 50 years old and I think this formula is perfect for my skin. It also contains plenty of moisturizing ingredients, so it also helps with dryness.
Is Shiseido Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting Foundation suitable for oily skin types?
You only need a small amount of this foundation, so I think it’s very easy to use for people with oily skin. I have combination skin and my T-zone is a little oily, but this works really well on this area.
Will it last long?
Yes, I am really impressed with the staying power of this foundation. Great views even at the end of the day.
Can it also cover melasma?
I don’t have melasma, but I find this works wonders in evening out my skin tone and minimizing hyperpigmentation and dark spots.
Can it cover redness?
Yes, I think Shiseido’s Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting Foundation is great for getting rid of redness quickly because a little goes a long way.
What is the difference between Shiseido Synchro Skin Radiant Refitting Foundation and Revitalescence Skin Glow Foundation?
I think it has more coverage than Revitalessence Skin Glow and is a little less shiny. It is also more durable. I love both formulas, but if I want my makeup to last all day, I would choose this one between the two. Revitalessence Skin Glow is still one of my absolute favorites and I think this one ranks just as high.
Does Shiseido Synchro Skin Radiant Refitting Foundation contain sunscreen?
Yes, this formula contains SPF 30 sunscreen for UVA and UVB protection. Shiseido still recommends using another sunscreen product to ensure dosage. I apply it over my usual SPF50.
my shade
I know this is a very important part for all my shade twins.
I spent a lot of time choosing a shade from the three samples I have. It looks quite different in the swatch photo above, but in reality there is just a slight nuance in the undertone. Having tried all three, I determined that 310 is my best match (For now!!).
It might be worth mentioning that I actually use 250 in the Revitalessence Skin Glow foundation (review here), but with this formula the drydown can be slightly darker than it first appears. got it.
For reference, my favorite shade in the original Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation was 310 Silk, so I think it correlates very well to the original formula.

With the shade range I have, I think all three shades can be adjusted to suit my skin tone, but I think the most natural-looking one is 310 (which I found in the original Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation I actually really like it). .
Please note: Since taking these photos, I’ve realized that I can significantly reduce the amount of product I use. So if it looks heavy in any way, that’s why.
