I was so excited to try Sisley’s new lip balm. I’m literally obsessed with Sisley Phyto Rouge Shine Lip Color (review and swatches are here – my favorite is shade 10!) because I think Sisley creates the most beautiful texture.

I was expecting the Sisley Paris Phyto Lip Balm to have a good texture, but I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. They literally feel sacred. This blend feels instantly cushioned and smooth. My lips were dry before I tested this formula and when I say, my lips were dry.

It’s impressive how quickly this balm works to moisturize and moisturize lips. By the next day, the surface of my lips was much smoother and everything felt more comfortable.

They also look great on the lips, with a dewy, glossy texture that leaves a healthy, plump look without being too shiny, meaning the clear version makes a great base for make-up or pairs very well with a lip liner if you want a more defined look.

I really like the cloud (clear shade) on the lips with a soft line. The one I’m currently using is the Lisa Eldridge Sculpt and Shade Lip Pencil (see link for swatches).

The second Pink Glow is so beautiful because it reacts to the pH of your lips, giving you a custom shade that looks truly healthy, youthful, and dewy. This is the perfect shade to apply without a mirror.

Number 3, Crush, is a really interesting rosewood kind of shade and is the most lipstick-y shade of the three. I really love this and think it offers something a little different in the tinted lip balm category.

Sisley Paris describes Crush Shade as a product that gives your lips a watercolor look. Sisley always gives very romantic explanations like this, but you can kind of understand what he means. In fact, this might be my favorite.

Also, the packaging is just gorgeous. It looks just like my favorite Phytrouge Shine and is refillable.

If you’re looking for something similar in a coral shade, check out my other favorite tinted balm, Cle de Peau Lip Glorifier.
