My review of Sisley Paris Phyto Tent Perfection Foundation

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this foundation since I’m into glows and this formula is a matte formula. That being said, it is not a flat matte at all and what I like most about this foundation is that it provides a velvety finish while still having a very natural glow.

What skin types is it suitable for?

I have combination skin and I think it’s really good for my skin type. It has a matte finish so it blends into the skin very well and I’m always happy to not have to apply powder.

This product is formulated to suit all skin types and is loaded with skin care. So even if you have fairly dry skin, this should work for you. That being said, I think a glossy foundation is probably best for dry skin types, and this foundation is a good choice for combination or oily skin types.

Does it need to be powdered?

I didn’t feel the need to apply powder at all with this foundation. It lasts very well even without powder, but if you are oily, you may want to use a lighter set on areas that tend to get shiny. I personally would like to see how it goes without the powder and then judge. The anti-transfer finish allows you to completely skip powder.

Is it easy to apply?

I use a buffing brush to apply the Sisley Paris Phyto Tent Perfection Foundation and find that a little goes a long way. Start with one pump and add more if you want to cover any area.

What is the warranty?

This foundation has very high coverage and is perfect if you want to cover up redness, dark spots, and blemishes. I find that one layer is enough to even out my skin tone and give my complexion a flawless finish.

As I said, just a little bit goes a long way, so you can wear it sheer or layer it depending on the style you’re going for. I think it’s also great for blurring pores, fine lines, and imperfections.

What does the finish look like?

Although this is a foundation with a matte finish, it still has plenty of natural glow. I like a glowy finish, so I pair it with the new Shiseido Revitalescence Skin Glow Primer (reviewed here). This gives you the perfect amount of shine.
