Cleanser/makeup remover
Pharmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Balm – This is my favorite makeup remover balm. This is a solid cleanser that you apply to dry skin, massage, and then rinse off with lukewarm water and a cloth. I really liked the limited edition scented version. Surprisingly doesn’t irritate the skin.I strawberry shortcake clean.I’m going to order them Tea Harvest Green Clean Trio.
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator – This is one of the best rice-based powder cleansers I’ve used. A classic product that gently removes pores and dead skin cells. Activate by adding water, make into a paste, massage + wash off. I’m sure there are a few different variations of this, but I’ve only tried the classic version.
First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser – This is my favorite gentle daily cleanser. This is the item I bought the most last year. I like that it leaves my skin clean without being dry. I gift this to my nieces and friends whenever their kids ask for cleanser recommendations.
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser – Another favorite that I always keep in stock. Although it is a highly viscous liquid, it foams well with hot water. It keeps your skin clean and soft.
Jack Black Acne Remedy Balancing Foam Cleanser – This is Andrew’s favorite, but he only uses it twice a week (alternating with Kiehl’s and Kiehl’s) turbo wash This is strictly for the body, but he also uses it on his face). Contains 0.5% salicylic acid to keep your skin clean and free of blackheads and acne caused by sweat and sunscreen.
Toner/Treatment/Mask
la mer the tonic One of my top two favorite toners. I’ve tried different formulas and this is the one I keep buying. Another favorite of mine is sisley floral toning lotion But it’s not available at Sephora.
Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer I just started trying this new toner and I really like it. It’s the first moisturizing toner that I actually liked. Although it has a milky cream formula, it does not leave a sticky feeling on the skin.
Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Baby Facial is the best home AHA + BHA resurfacing treatment. I’ve been keeping my skin pretty clean for the past year with proper face washing, and I also keep my brushes clean, so I haven’t had much of a problem with clogged pores. I plan to use this every other week.
Sunday Riley Good Gene It is definitely the best lactic acid treatment. Whenever your skin feels a little bumpy or a little dull due to clogged pores, use this and within a few days you will have clear, glowing skin back to life.
La Mer Sheet Treatment Lotion Hydrating Mask This is my holy grail sheet mask for hydration.
Moisturizer/serum
I rotate my moisturizer depending on the season.of La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream It’s my favorite this year. They reformulated it earlier this year and it’s even better than before.As a luxurious moisturizing cream Augustine Bader is also very good.
La Mer Concentrate Serum This is my current go-to serum. I use it in conjunction with moisturizing soft cream.
La Mer Eye Concentrate Cream This is what I use most of the year. I love the small ball applicator which has a cooling effect on the eyes. A small amount goes a long way, so I feel like I can use this small bottle for quite a while.
Drunk Elephant Protiny Polypeptide Cream is also a long-time favorite. It is a versatile daily moisturizer and the most loved among family and friends. Recommended for those with dry skin: Lala Retro Nourishing Whipped Moisturizer.
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream The best lightweight moisturizing cream. I think it’s great for both men and women. If you’re looking for a good starter moisturizer, this is what I recommend. Kiehl’s has a lot of great value starter sets, so I highly recommend them!
Biossance Squalane+ Vitamin C Rose Firming Oil It’s my favorite face oil. I’m usually a cream person when it comes to moisturizers. This soothes, moisturizes and tightens. It feels like it really penetrates into the skin. I use this at night.
Sunscreen
I have all my sunscreens for summer and my top 3 favorites are: Super goop!glow screen, Shiseido clear sunscreen stick and Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion. Andrew’s favorite is jack black sun guard And it has really good staying power.
others
There are not many skin care tools that I have been using consistently for the past few months. I’m looking to step up my game again, and one of the tools I really like is BeautyBio Cryo Skin Icing Dual End Roller. Stainless steel cools the skin and relieves swelling and tension. I like that it comes in two sizes in one. A few weeks ago I was having the worst tension headaches and swelling and this tool was extremely helpful.
body care
I love spending money on body care! I haven’t put together much in this category, but here are my favorites.
Ouai Cleansing Scalp Body Sugar Scrub This is my favorite body scrub. If I’m not in a big hurry, I always keep it stocked.
Oi Dean Street Gentle Body Wash This is my current favorite shower gel. I love the smell. It’s gentle and very soothing.
Sol de Janeiro Brazilian 4 Play Shower Cream Gel Perfect for hydration. It smells delicious, like you’re on vacation in a bottle.
Cosus Good Body Skin AHA + Enzyme Body Wash A great AHA exfoliating body wash. If you have acne on your body, this is great for unclogging your pores.
jack black turbo wash It’s Andrew’s favorite and I use it too. It is the most effective body cleanser for removing sweat, sunscreen, and excess oil, but it does not remove dirt from the skin. Body washes come in several different scents, but Turbo Wash is the most effective.
Herbivore Botanicals Hot Coco Coconut Oil Body Scrub I bought it recently and I really like it. It’s small but very fun. It’s very moisturizing, so I think I’ll order a few more during the sale.
Herbivore Botanicals Cloud Milk Coconut Firming Cream My current obsession is body moisturizers. I’m very picky when it comes to body creams, as I don’t like to apply things that are sticky or have strong scents (I’m usually a body oil person). This is heavenly and the coconut scent is perfect, not too light and not too heavy. It has a very smooth texture. 100% recommended.
lip treatment
I’m a lip balm addict so I try almost every lip moisturizer out there. My top three from Sephora are: Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm, Laneige Lip Glowy Balm (with grapefruit or gummy bears) la mer lip volumizer.
perfume
Last but not least is the scent. Lately I’ve been obsessed with all things Phlur.my top 3 are missing person, Somebody Wood and parental presence.I think so amber haze and vanilla skin hair body mist It’s amazing and the staying power is pretty good too.
