What’s so special about this serum? There were two things that surprised me about this serum: the viscosity and the scent. It’s a creamy serum, which isn’t very common, but it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all. Although it is very hydrating, it doesn’t hurt to apply a moisturizer on top. I had some humid nights, so I used this serum as both a serum and moisturizer. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Secondly, it smells like a fresh pine forest. I love the smell of nature and inhaling this serum made me feel even more connected to nature. I also liked how this fragrance element further emphasized the influence of Campo’s mother’s teachings. Since I only used this serum at night, this scent also had an aromatherapy purpose.

Final Verdict: I always love all NENA products and this serum is no exception! I love that this serum is multi-purpose and hydrates my skin on those days when it’s flaky and dehydrated. As I’ve mentioned in previous reviews, I have a pretty comprehensive skincare routine so my skin is already at a level where there isn’t much room for improvement and it’s hard to see a difference with a product. What I can say is that while using this serum, my skin maintained its luminosity level and the texture of my skin was always soft and bouncy. Even though this is a cream serum, I was able to comfortably apply a sheet mask over top which as you all know is very important to me. The ingredients are top notch as always and supporting a local brand that continually supports indigenous people makes me even more proud to use NENA products.
