With flashy cat costumes, spooky snacks, and special appearances by A-list talent, including Tubbs, no one brought more Halloween fun than Tubbs. In fact, Heidi Klum stole her spooky soirée idea from him. Here’s a look back at a typical Halloween 🎃 and all the preparations Tab usually did.
My love,
There’s an old adage in the world of plus-size kitten models: “Go big or go home.” I keep those words in mind when I host a party. We want our guests to be talking about them for years to come.
As a famous cat supermodel, I’ve hosted many Halloween shindigs and have nearly a decade of party planning experience. In that vein, here are four essential elements for a successful cat Halloween party.
1. Invitation
First up is the invitation. In the digital age, e-bites and group invites via Facebook are acceptable. But I’m a little old-fashioned. I prefer paper invitations. Do what I do and have an assistant design a custom invitation for you.
Be sure to include all relevant details such as date, time, location, how to RSVP, and most importantly, dress code.
2. Food

As you can see from my husky girth, food is very important to me. Of course, catering is always an option, but if you’re lucky enough to have an in-house chef or gravy maker (which I am), you can brainstorm fun Halloween-themed drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts with them. Why not spend some time there?
I’ve been scouring gourmet cat cooking magazines for months now and plan on offering this this year. Feel free to incorporate these ideas.

3. Entertainment
“Have fun tonight, everyone. Wang Chun tonight.” Yes, I was just quoting one of my favorite party songs. Of course, this is in the Halloween mix I plan on playing this year, along with some cat-themed songs.
Music is absolutely critical to a successful party. Take the time to create a good playlist of upbeat songs that will make your furry cat’s tail twitch.
Once you have mastered mood music, you will need additional entertainment. I’m a big fan of tabletop games. Cat-Opoly is a classic piece that’s sure to liven up any party.
Also, if you have the budget, hire a live bud. Adam Levine owes me a favor, so Maroon 5 will be hosting guests this year.

4. Decoration

Set the stage for your party with Halloween decorations. I like creepy silhouettes. If your assistant is good with a paring knife, have them carve at least one suitable jack-o-lantern. My assistant is currently working hard on our work as we speak.
Cats like to be in touch with their space, so it’s important to take that into account. Keep decorations accessible and hang streamers from the ceiling to encourage banging and play. Also, set up a DIY silhouette for your shadow-loving cat to stare at for hours.
Lanterns are also a great way to enhance the spooky atmosphere, but don’t forget to dim the lights.

Whatever you do, have fun. Don’t let your obligations as a host prevent you from interacting with your guests. Mix, mingle, and rub cheeks to make it a night to remember.
Have a spooky and wonderful Halloween!
