Scissors are, well, scissors. It’s gray. It was just over $6 on Amazon, so I rushed to buy it when I moved into my new apartment. There’s nothing special about them. They just do one job: cut. In my case, I ended up cutting my beauty products in half because I was trying so hard to save every last drop. They have a container of Neutrogena benzoyl peroxide (sexy!) and Tula SPF 30 (my favorite coffee shop barista compliments me every time I wear this, so I’m not going to let go of my serotonin). He also helped me use it. As long as the product comes in thin enough plastic, it’s fair game: a tube of toothpaste. cream. cleanser. Anyway, I cut it in half. In some cases, he even managed to scrape together enough product to last a week.
The other half of the equation is the double-ended silicone spatula. When Soft Service released their Carea cream in an aluminum case, I started using the pump to scrape off the last bits of the lotion. This was one of his few body lotions that actually made my persistently dry skin look vibrant. I don’t plan on leaving a single bite.
