What does a typical day at Luxy look like for you?
Before work, I love having a breakfast shake and listening to podcasts to wind down my day. I like to start work early and get day-to-day tasks done before tackling special projects.
These tasks include engaging with affiliate content on social, researching new affiliates and influencers for upcoming campaigns, reviewing affiliate applications, and more.
After that, I work on other tasks and projects, such as creating content for TikTok and YouTube, creating campaign materials, and helping manage influencers and affiliates.
Please explain how you dress when working from home.
I’m pretty minimalist when it comes to fashion and I love comfort, so most days I wear a crew neck, sweatpants, and a top knot bun. I shoot content on Fridays, so I wear more fashionable clothes on those days.
Why did you decide to pursue a career in this field?
I went to school for Fashion Communications and always knew I wanted to work in the fashion and beauty industry, but I didn’t know exactly what my role would be. When I entered college, I told myself that I would absorb as much information as possible and expand my skill set over the next four years.
As the years have gone on, I’ve always found myself drawn to marketing, promotion, and social media related projects. From there, I knew that was where I was meant to be!
Who is your hair inspiration and why?
Normani! I always go to her for her hair advice because she has a similar bone structure and skin to me. If she tries her hairstyle, I know it’s safe to do it too. 😂
What do you like about working at Luxy?
It’s hard to choose between the people, the culture and my role itself. Luxy is made up of an amazing group of women who are very welcoming, creative, and always looking to grow. I love that idea and gratitude is a big focus within our team. On the other hand, I love the scope of my role. Between affiliate/influencer work and content creation, you can use both your analytical and creative sides.

I’m all about balance, so I’ll eat a bowl of fruit and then a bag of potato chips (Sweet Chili Heat to be exact).

Which is your favorite social platform? Who do you enjoy following the most and why?
My favorite social platform is definitely Instagram! My favorite person to follow is fashion content creator Ellie Joslin (@Miss Jocelyn). She has such a great sense of style that I always visit her page for inspiration.
