What does a typical day at Luxy look like for you?
As a junior copywriter, I support copywriters and lead editors in maintaining Luxy Hair’s brand voice. This includes everything from working on conceptual campaigns, to publishing email newsletters, to providing support with web copy.
Please explain how you dress when working from home.
Fun crew neck or sweatshirt! I always pair it with comfy sweatpants or my trusty leggings. Comfort is key!
Why did you decide to pursue a career in this field?
I’ve wanted to write ever since I wrote my first short story in second grade. As an avid reader and writer, it was important for me to develop my writing skills and work in a field where I could showcase my talents. Creativity.
Working at Luxy has given me a great opportunity to think outside the box and challenge myself to create something bigger and better with each new project.
Who is your hair inspiration and why?
I’ve always been obsessed with @xosara’s hair. She always thinks outside the box and always puts a fresh spin on contemporary trends.

I will forever be grateful for my mother, my health, and my friends. I’m so happy to have such a great support system!

Popcorn, always. It’s one of my go-to snacks and always a hit.
Please describe your self-care routine
I’m an introvert by nature, so my best self-care happens when I’m alone at home. I love to take a hot shower, put on a face mask, and watch a cozy movie or TV show (my favorites are The Office or a Bollywood movie).
Which is your favorite social platform? Who do you enjoy following the most and why?
Scary TikTok. It’s a place where you can get a little bit of everything. Lots of laughs, helpful tips and hacks, and product recommendations. Some of my favorite creators are @mary_skinner, @iconicakes & @oldloserinbrooklyn
What was the last book you read that had a big impact on your life?
I think everyone should read it too decisive decade At least Once in a Lifetime by Meg Jay. It contains some surprising nuggets of wisdom, especially for people in their teens and twenties. Life is a journey of growth, so it is very important to practice patience and kindness towards yourself.
What are your daily beliefs and words to live by?
One of my favorite quotes is, “Being great is not your destiny; rather, it’s a decision you make.” This is a great reminder to work hard towards your goals and not be discouraged by any obstacles along the way.
What is your zodiac sign? How would you describe yourself in three words?
I’m a Sagittarius! He describes himself in three words: empathetic, creative, and loving. I’m a kid with a big heart!
