Here are some things I do to feel like I’m not drowning in it all. The. task. everytime!

When you feel tired, overwhelmed, or overstimulated (which is often the case), these things can help you cope. decision fatigue.

1. Plan your non-lunch waste for the week.

It’s a very small thing, but it really helps. One less thing to think about.

Sometime during the weekend, write a quick list for lunch and make sure you have the ingredients on hand.

Connor is very adventurous and will eat almost anything, but when it comes to school lunches, he doesn’t mind choosing from a “greatest hits” list. I let her choose what she wants each day and go with it.

I do something similar for my work lunches during the week. I like deciding on a theme and moving forward! This week I’m getting protein with vegetables, so for lunch today I’ll have a pre-made chicken salad from the local deli.

2. Limit your wardrobe to a few colors.

I especially do this with my work wardrobe. We focused on three colors: tan, navy, and black. Purposefully limiting your options makes decision-making much easier. It kind of looks like a uniform.

3. Remove all socks that are in the way.

While we’re on the topic of getting dressed, spend an afternoon cleaning out your sock drawer and getting rid of all the mismatched socks that have holes in them. Also, please edit the socks that interest you in some way. He doesn’t know why, but knowing he doesn’t have any socks in his drawer that are slipping down, itchy, or ill-fitting gives him one less thing to worry about.I recently purchased a large amount of brands from Target. new dayand I like them.

4. In the meantime, only keep underwear that fits you well in your drawer.

If it bothers you at all, just let it go. As with socks, I find this to be very freeing. He has one less thing to fight over.As a side note, I recently purchased a few things Women’s Breeze Collection I really like it on GAP. Super comfortable and soft!

5. Start your week by grabbing a few essential makeup items that you absolutely love.

This is a gift for a friend who has a relatively large collection. (I’m editing mine, it’s a process). Everyone should get a few key items that they plan to use every day and love them all. Swap this mini collection for other favorites if you like. This is really helpful! Lately I’ve been obsessed with Chanel.
