Lopez is spending her post-vacation time in Aspen, a celebrity hotspot this time of year. And she dresses up for the role, trading in stiletto heels and gowns in favor of big coats, chunky sweaters, and the aforementioned cowboy hats. In true Lopez style, she’s giving us a masterclass in winter hairstyling. Her Aspen look is understated, yet has the luxury of a superstar. Case in point: the perfect long layer, nestled perfectly under a dove gray cowboy hat.
Lopez’shoney colored hair I used a round brush to create a classic speech bubble style. Rather than let her hair flow down her back like a cowgirl on a horse, most of her hair was slicked forward and sat over a turtleneck sweater and barn jacket. Her hair was subtly disheveled to look casual and cool, without being flashy or very precise. As a final touch, Aspen’s must-have Kemo Sabe hat was placed on top of her head and pulled low over her forehead to hide her softly defined eyes and unmistakable J. Lo glow. Ta.
It’s certainly a simple hairstyle, but it goes very well with both her wide-brimmed hat and cozy outfit, not to mention Aspen’s day’s activities. Her hair is done but not yet finished Too Easily transition from snowy streets to fancy dinners out. That’s what makes cowgirls so appealing, if you will.
