The formula is said to deliver “intense color and instant shine” in one layer, while offering “comfortable wear” and hydration. The brand also claims that it can be worn for 16 hours, is transfer-free, and is both water and food resistant. According to the brand, shake the tube before applying.
I’m happy to report that this formula actually lived up to its claims. It lasted incredibly long and was absolutely possible to wear for 16 hours, but I think it started to deteriorate more noticeably after I ate two greasy meals (about 12-14 hours depending on my eating schedule) time). It was corrosion resistant and water resistant. Even after drinking my morning latte and water throughout the day, there were no marks left on my glasses. There was almost no color transfer after eating, and it hardly hurt my lips, except on the inside of my lips after lunch, which is oily (the plague!).
These had rich color coverage that applied evenly, were fairly forgiving and didn’t tend to settle noticeably in the lip lines. The liquid lipstick felt light and thin at first, but after about 30 seconds it turned into a slightly sticky, more satin-like sheen. After about 2 hours, I noticed that the sticky feeling decreased and it was very comfortable to wear. Even after wearing this product for several days in a row, my lips didn’t seem to dry out at all.
It seemed to be unscented and I couldn’t taste it.
