“I started Victoria Beckham Beauty because I knew there was a demand for it, but I wanted to do it my way, with a real focus on clean beauty. Product ingredients are key. I too have struggled with skin problems for years. When I was younger, I went to see a dermatologist and was prescribed all kinds of antibiotics and topical treatments. I took my power back and decided to really focus on what I was putting into my body and what I was putting into my body. Of course, we still wanted our product to work. That was difficult for my product development team and lab, but we were able to I think that’s what makes us the best in the class.
skin care
My skin has definitely become dry. When I was younger I was oily and didn’t like it, but as I get older I realize that even oily skin is good enough. I was very lucky that my acne didn’t leave any scars, but if I had dry skin I might have.We kept all skin types in mind when developing daily cleansing protocol, a duo of oil cleanser and lactic acid gel cleanser. When I was struggling with my skin, I couldn’t find the perfect cleanser. They either irritate my skin and cause further breakouts, or they dry it out excessively. My cleansers can be used together or separately. At night, I use an oil cleanser first. This is because it effectively removes dirt and makeup from your face. Many cleansers claim to remove makeup, but they actually don’t. It also doesn’t strip away the natural oils that cling to your skin. Then use a gel cleanser. But if my skin feels a little dry while traveling, I might use an oil cleanser. Gel cleaners contain lactic acid, so they can be used once or twice a day, depending on your skin type. I like to use it alone in the morning.

I like my nails to be quite long. I like either nude nails or dark colors. To be honest, it depends on what you’re wearing. I create content often and don’t want my nails to stand out too much, so I mostly wear natural colors to keep things simple. My philosophy is that dark nails look gorgeous when I’m wearing a tailor or on a night out, but I also like to wear lots of colors and have different colors on my nails. And you start to wonder what you’re wearing.
i knew [nail artist] Tom Bachik For many years. We haven’t worked together in a long time because he’s based in Los Angeles and I’m based in London, but he’s great and very talented. I have an amazing girl I work with in Miami. There are some great people in London too, but to be honest, depending on what I’m doing, I like trying out new people.
scent
Diptyque is my go-to candle brand. I go back and forth between one brand and the next. feu de bois and Bayesian. Many, many years ago, I created a fragrance with my girlfriend’s husband called “Intimately Beckham.” I really enjoyed the process of making it. But like with makeup, I didn’t want to compromise and wanted to do it my way, so about eight years ago I started working with the most amazing perfumer, Jerome Epinette. We knew we needed to take our time with the fragrances we were working on; Suite 302, San Ysidro Driveand Portofino ’97—Because releasing a fragrance independently is a big undertaking. There was no rush at all.
I feel so vulnerable when I talk about the three scents. Because I’ve never told these stories about my personal life before. San Ysidro Drive is named after the address my family and I moved to in 2007. Every time I smell this drive, I am reminded of my early days in LA. It was also here that I began to focus on a career in fashion. It was a very special time for me to work on myself as a woman.
Suite 302 really brings me back. You could say it’s an homage to the love affair between David and myself and Paris. In the 1990s, we often secretly went to Paris, just the two of us. We will be staying at Hotel Costes. When we lived in Spain, we were dropping the kids off at school one morning and David said to me, “I’m going to take you somewhere today.” We drove to the airport and boarded a private plane. And then, halfway through the flight, David went into the bathroom and came back in a very handsome tuxedo. “I have something to wear to the bathroom,” he said. He had a white dress on, so he put it on and put on his makeup. When we arrived in London, there was a chauffeured car that had taken us to our wedding many years ago. We drove to the house where we lived in north London. We had a small chapel on our property and he had filled the entire chapel with flowers. His parents were also there. His parents were also there. We asked the same pastor who married us years ago to remarry us. It was the most romantic thing he’d ever done. Then we went back to the airport and got back on the plane. I had no idea where I was going again. We arrived in Paris and literally had a mini-honeymoon that lasted 24 hours. We stayed in Suite 302 at The Ritz.
When I first met David, I was in the Spice Girls. He was living in Manchester and driving to London to play for Manchester United. We literally ended up meeting in the parking lot of a restaurant called City Limits. We sat in his car and talked and really got to know each other. A friend of mine at the time said, “If people found out you two were dating, they’d be furious.” There will be paparazzi everywhere. ” The same friend said, “Once people know about you, go on a trip.” Do something special. The first trip you should take is Portofino. There is a wonderful hotel called Hotel Splendido. ” It was the first time we went out together and the first time we were on a private plane together. There were 48 hours. Until then, we were both so busy that every time we met, it felt like a moment had been stolen from us. The intensity of the two of them spending 48 hours together was truly amazing. It reminds me of the blue sky. I remember the smell. I remember being so excited to be with him for the first time.
I love each one. I wear them all depending on where I’m going, who I’m with, what I’m doing, where I happen to be, and what I’m wearing. All of them are genderless. Sweet 302 is the perfect date night fragrance. It’s very sexy. I love tobacco notes. It feels very elegant, very chic, and very cool. There’s something strong, powerful, and sexy about Suite 302. During the day, I go back and forth between Portofino and San Isidro. I love the modern take on the Rose of San Isidro and the fresh feel of Portofino. You can also mix and match fragrances, so you can almost customize it. This is all I’m wearing right now. ”
