Wedding skin care: important tips

Try to start early. Start your wedding skin care at least six months before the big day so your skin has enough time to adjust to your routine, especially if you’re making changes or adding new products. is recommended. If you’re on a budget, it’s a good idea to consult a professional to find the best fit for your skin. Once you find your way, stick with it and don’t expect results overnight.

cleanse! Follow my 3-step cleanse in the evening to get your skin looking its best and avoid breakouts on your wedding day. Just wash your face once a day (at night) and rinse with water in the morning to moisturize.

Remove dead skin. Do not over exfoliate as this will cause skin irritation. However, exfoliating occasionally (once a week) will give your skin a radiant glow and is an essential part of your wedding skincare routine. Read my exfoliation guide here.

Drink lots of water. It sounds obvious, but it’s surprising how many brides are so busy getting ready, getting ready (or drinking champagne!) and running around that they forget to take time to hydrate. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water every day. Your skin will thank you for the water.

Please use sunscreen. Protect your skin from harmful UV rays by applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 every day. This is especially important on the wedding day.

Add water. Get gorgeous, glowing skin on your wedding day with a pre-wedding face mask.
