Hello beautiful creatures! Today I’m sharing my weekend vacation makeup routine. This is the makeup that Dave, Ami, and I brought along as a quick routine when we spent a weekend in Orlando. I usually like bold makeup, but for a casual weekend, I decided to try something simple and cute.

What I’m looking for in my weekend makeup
For your weekend getaway makeup, you want it to be goofy, quick to apply, maximum effect with minimal effort, and look great. For me, that means iridescent shades on the eyes and cheeks, and a simple lip. I want my skin to be glowing and my makeup to last all day.

Tip of hair
To make the ponytail higher, I braided the hair on either side of my face and put it back into a ponytail. Sometimes the braid is hidden by wrapping it around the elastic of the ponytail. I have been suffering from hair loss due to surgery, so I treat my hair with special care.i just use silk ponytail holder to minimize damage.

I can’t say enough about LA Girl Light Instant Finish Multi-use Tint Primer! It evens out my skin tone, blurs pores and fine lines, provides an adherent base for makeup products, and looks amazing on minimal makeup days. LA Girl offers this in her six shades: light, nude, medium beige, tan, deep tan, and deep.
LA Girl Light Instant Finish Multi-use Tint Primer It’s like putting an Instagram filter on your skin, letting your beauty shine while minimizing the things you don’t like. Weekend Vacation Makeup Her Routine tutorial video shows my skin up close with this primer. This blurs my pores and blurs my hyperpigmentation, but it doesn’t give me full coverage and I can see how my skin looks its best.
Nicks Fierce Flat Lip Liner Pencil
Nyx’s violent affair lip liner pencil It’s a cool-toned light mauve pink that’s perfect for my lips. It is definitely an MLBB (but better on my lips) color and very flattering on me. If you’re a fan of cool tones or cool tones, I recommend checking this out. There is no brown tint in this pencil and it doesn’t turn orange or brown on me.

REM Beauty 7 Rings and Buxom Spellbound Pink both have plumping lip gloss formulas with an iridescent glow, which is why I was drawn to them. I can’t tolerate most plumping lip formulas, neither of which irritate my lips, but I do feel a stinging sensation.

final thoughts
It’s been a very long and difficult week, but I’m grateful for the weekend. I have plans to take a break and meet friends. While you are still recovering from surgery, you need to stop pushing yourself to the point of injury. The hardest part of healing is prioritizing rest when you feel “almost” normal.
