Hello beautiful creatures! Today I’m sharing the Wicked Widow Beauty Lovesick Palette look and what I did for Valentine’s Day. This is my first full make-up look for 2024 and since my blepharoplasty on December 20, 2023.
Please note that for my entire life prior to December 2023, I had hooded eyes. My new eye shape is deep set (at least 99.5% sure) so you can learn all about deep set eye color placement.

KVD Full Sleeve Long + Define Tube Mascara
Let’s talk a little bit about KVD Full Sleeve Long + Define Tube Mascara. I purchased the mini version of this mascara and was so happy with it that I subsequently purchased the full size and used it several times. When I tried to use it for this look, it was terrible. I threw it in the trash. I don’t usually buy into the hype that mini size is better than full size, but when I used this mascara, there was definitely something different. It was strangely wet and hardened, and no matter how many spoolies I used, it didn’t get better.
This is just one way KVD has made me sad lately. It is also very disappointing that KVD is not transparent considering the expiry date of the eye products. It’s still disappointing that Dazzle Gel only has a shelf life of 6 months considering the price.
Lastly, I’m disappointed that Rosebud’s KVD Everlasting Blush has been discontinued. I love this refillable packaging so I foolishly thought KVD would keep it. Rosebud is the perfect everyday soft shade for me and I noticed it was missing when I went to buy it. I contacted KVD support and the response was very disappointing. I told her I was cool-toned, but she still recommended a warm pink shade. It’s clear that people working in customer service have no interest in makeup.

I want to say clearly that I love you elf makeup products! Not all of their products are winners for me, but they have a lot of great products. Right now I’m obsessed with the Power Grip Primer. This is the affordable duck of Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer for me. I was very disappointed to see other content creators criticize Elf for creating affordable camo products and those of us who choose to purchase them.

Laura Mercier’s secret under-eye brightening powder is your secret weapon
Laura Mercier Secret brightening powder under eyes is the secret weapon of choice for many makeup artists. Perfect for setting under eyes as well as mascara. Another trick I like to use is to blur the edges of my eyeshadow to brighten the look but keep it cohesive.
Thoughts on the Wicked Widow Beauty Lovesick palette
So far I’m loving the Wicked Widow Beauty Lovesick Palette. The mat is assembleable and blends easily. The shimmering shades have excellent color payoff. My Valentine’s Day look lasted 10 hours before I took it off. Looked great from start to finish! The cool pink color goes well with fair and cool skin.

I received this liquid lipstick and silk natural as a gift. super fruit lip mask, to a few friends this year. These lipsticks are now my favorite products from Urban Decay, and my next. Stay Naked Hydromaniac Tinted Moisturizer, all nighter setting sprayand Eyeliner that can be used 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
I’m still hoping that someday Urban Decay makes a blurring stick foundation that’s perfect for my dry skin. And we’re looking forward to seeing more bold and wild colors in the glossy lipstick line.

The last time I remember my eyes being so sensitive was after PRK vision correction surgery.mine didn’t work P. Louise Shade 1 Eyeshadow Primer Base It was too thick and it hurt too much when I tried to spread it out. What I wore on Valentine’s Day
It was my first time wearing a dress since my breast reconstruction surgery on January 30th. I decided to wear my favorite little black dress from Marste Fashion. It’s a shame that Marste’s fashion no longer exists. That’s because Marste is a sustainably made American fashion brand and said it pays its employees a fair wage, which is not usually the case in the fashion industry. This little black dress goes with everything, but especially with bold looks like the ones created with the Wicked Widow Beauty Lovesick Palette.
And yes, Amaya is a very sweet person! She’s always watching to see what I’ll do next. Her lead manners these days are amazing. If she didn’t have her hip dysplasia, I would sign up for a trick class with her. Her focus on me is unparalleled.
What I made for Valentine’s Day

we took lily chips I melted them and dipped the strawberries to make chocolate covered strawberries. To color the white chocolate pink, I used food coloring mixed with pureed beets. I put the chocolate in the freezer to harden while I ate dinner. The bold pink strawberry goes well with my girlfriend’s Wicked Widow Beauty Lovesick palette look.
Dave and Ami teamed up to create these strawberry and cream drinks. It was mixed with strawberries, made with coconut cream, and had Strawberry Rose Vodka and Recall 43. I rarely drink (because it causes inflammation) but I had a glass of this. It was delicious.
Ami shared her favorite scallop recipe that she and I made together. Scallops, gluten-free pasta, cherry tomatoes, and baby spinach. The sauce is made with lots of garlic, lemon, coconut cream, white wine, and butter. I love scallops and spinach! I thoroughly enjoyed the cherry tomatoes, but my body didn’t, so I’ll have to skip them next time.
Dave and I loved spending Valentine’s Day with Ami. I loved spending Valentine’s Day at home cooking and spending it with great company. How did you celebrate Valentine’s Day?
