Happy Holidays! Today I’m sharing some blue winter makeup inspiration. I’ve been doing some blue makeup lately, so I thought you might be particularly interested in some of them. All are cruelty-free and most products are vegan. The photo was taken with an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Winter solstice ceremony
I wore frost-themed blue winter makeup as Dave and I attended the Winter Solstice Ceremony at Lotus Pond with many of our friends and community. We loved immersing ourselves in the warmth of the community.

It’s a pity that I didn’t have time to take pictures of the winter solstice ritual makeup with my DSLR camera. Even if you have a great iPhone, you won’t be able to take sharp close-up makeup photos with the forward-facing camera.
For this reason, I decided to change the lipstick a little. I ended up fading the center lip pencil to brighten it and reapplying the gloss. You can see the changes in the IG video.
I think it’s a soft blue and purple winter eye makeup.

Here are some of my picks for the best makeup of 2024.
Plump power line lip liner
of Plump power line lip liner It’s my favorite lip pencil formula and I’ve been using it for the past few years. Unfortunately, the range of shades is very limited, so you can also use cooler tones. Hush Hush Henna (neutral warm pinky brown for me), Magnetic Mauve (my lips but better color, cool toned pink mauve lilac), Powerful Plum (vampy plum), and Recharge Ruby (cool toned red) The color I use most often. For other colors I need in a lip pencil, like blue, purple, and black, I rely on Nyx and Half-Magic Beauty. Does liner make your lips fuller? I don’t know but this formula lasts for me and gives me a nice defined lip line. The blending brush on the other side of the pencil is also handy when experimenting with ombre.
LYS Triple Fix Blurring and Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation Stick
I’m really grateful to those who recommended it. LYS Triple Fix Blurring and Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation Stick To me! I love stick foundations and like pressed powder foundations, sticks are my favorite for everyday wear because they are quick to apply. Ever since Milk Makeup Flex Stick was discontinued, it has left a hole in my makeup collection. I looked for a replacement, but no luck until LYS. What surprised me is that it works better without primer underneath. This is a step you can skip using LYS. I love this!
How to properly apply stick foundation
I’ve found that the best way for me to apply stick foundation is to not drag the stick across my face. Instead, brush the stick and work the product into your skin. You will use much less product than applying a stick directly to your skin. What I use is anisa pinnacle foundation brush (I won this in a giveaway and will definitely repurchase) to apply LYS, and to most of my foundations these days. KVD Lock-It Edge Concealer Brush #40 I use it around my eyebrows and eyes to blend foundation.
What about under the eyes?
I’m 46 years old, so the skin under my eyes is delicate and tends to wrinkle and harden if I don’t carefully apply the thinnest layer of product to that area. I LYS Triple Fix Blurring and Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation Stick It’s best if you don’t apply it there. Apply rare beauty instead positive light under eye brightener under the eyes to minimize wrinkles. The eye brightener blends into the stick foundation without any problem.
One/Size Attention Seeker 3D Blush Trio
The best cheek formula I’ve found all year round is One/Size 3D Blush Trio “People who attract attention.” The cream formula melts into your skin, giving you a beautiful, cool pink blush. Coordinating powder is perfect for setting creams. Attention Seeker blushes have given me more compliments and questions about which blushes I’m wearing than any other blush this year. Unfortunately, the entire line is very warm-toned, so I don’t plan on picking any other shades.
The best thing about One/Size 3D Blush Trio It actually has a transparent lid to prevent powder from getting into the cream part. Usually I don’t buy cream and powder mixtures unless the palette has that feature.
One/Size On Till Dawn Setting Spray
My pick for this year’s best setting spray is One/Size On Til’ Dawn setting spray. It’s effective even in Florida’s hot and humid weather, and your makeup won’t come off even when you’re doing yoga. It feels like you’re spraying a can of hairspray in your face. My tip is to take a deep breath and hold your breath before spraying it on your face. After spraying on your face, small fan This is to help it dry faster.
I still use Urban Decay though. all nighter setting spraythe only thing that helps intensify the color is eyeshadow. It’s less irritating to the eyes, so it’s perfect for foiling eyeshadow or creating liner with eyeshadow.
VE Cosmetics Innocent Lip Gloss
VE Cosmetics Innocent lip gloss (received in PR) is my favorite gloss shade and formula of the year, followed by Half Magic Beauty magic drip glitter lip gloss. Innocent wins because it’s a captivating multichrome gloss with changing shades of pink, lilac, blue, turquoise, and purple. Looks great on any color. It is non-sticky, has good coloring, and has a long-lasting shine.
Half Magic Beauty Magic Drip Glitter Lip Gloss
semi-magical beauty magic drip glitter lip gloss It’s a very close second to VE Cosmetics in terms of formula. It’s a super smooth formula with a multi-dimensional glow without any stickiness or stickiness. It will not transfer to the teeth or jaw around your face. I love Y2k Cherub (a cool pink with multi-dimensional sparkles), Frosty B*tch (a neutral icy peach with multi-colored reflections), and Problem Child (a sheer black with multi-colored sparkles) ) is wearing. However, the range of shades is very limited and I wish they would add some cool toned reds.
Y2k Cherub is perfect for cool toned makeup. I like Frosty B*tch for its neutral to warm looks. Problem child is perfect when you want to wear black.
Black Moon Cat Meow Palette

A slanted palette of amazing, unique, cool tones. If you love Black Moon’s matte eyeshadow formulas and cool tones, you’ll enjoy the Cat’s Meow palette.
