my witch hat tutorial has become very popular over the last few years and I’ve loved seeing all of your work. This year we decided to make it even easier and offer a free witch’s hat pattern that you can download and print from home. For small children, we have also upgraded it to a kids size. And if you were looking at me videoyou can also see how I made a little one for the kitten.
It’s a very simple pattern, so it’s perfect for beginners. You can customize it according to your needs. Sometimes I keep it simple, sometimes I add flowers or tulle. Added spiders, sheer overlays, nets, and more. I often use felt, which has high cost performance. I also love canvas and durable velvet. Any fabric can be used as long as a thick adhesive is attached. It helps give it shape.

Below you can download a free pattern on regular printer paper. Just connect them as shown, tape them together, and cut them out. Important: Make sure you are printing at the correct scale.
After printing the adult witch’s hat pattern, lay out the page as shown. Fold along the dotted lines, tape them together, and cut them out to make two pieces. Measure the sample square to ensure it is printed to the correct scale. Cut the pattern along the red line and sew along the black line (1/2 inch seam allowance) to create a simple witch’s hat.

This is a layout of a witch’s hat for children. Tape the dotted lines together and cut out the pattern. Rather than cutting, I prefer to fold one dotted edge and overlap it with the corresponding edge.
