YSL Beauty is Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm At $40, out of the three balm formulas currently on sale, this is my favorite in terms of color and formula.

3B Rosewood Brush
of Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm It is a soft buttery balm in a twist-up format. Candy Glow is more pigmented and has a buttery feel than the slippery Labshine. The new Candy Glow is not as rich in texture as Candy Glaze. The softness level is soft, but not as soft as the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Balm. However, with the hot summer coming up, I am curious to see how it will hold up in my bag when I go out in the summer heat.
Candy Glow Balm It has the same sweet, signature YSL lip balm scent as Candy Glaze and the original Rouge Volupté Shine (sweet and fruity). The pigment is medium light, but still noticeable on my highly pigmented lips. I absolutely love it! You can see the full experience here.

- 1B Pink Sunrise is a colour shifting shade that changes to pink.
- 44B Nude Lavalliere is a nude pink and is my favorite variant of all the 44B shades because it has a warm undertone and suits my skin tone well (check out the other shades here)
- 3B Rosewood Blush is a warm rose pink (this is my favorite)
- 5B Nude Crush is a brownish rose
- 6B Brown Nude is a sheer neutral brown.
- 7B Nude Pleasure is a warm brown
Application behavior:
Overall I love it. I like this Candy Glow Balm The staying power is great, so it’s much better than Labshine. It’s not as slippery, so it stays on the lips and doesn’t feel like it’s sliding off. I still really like the formula and color of Candy Glaze, but it can feel a bit thick at times, especially during the hot summer months. This new one is much more comfortable on the lips.
A few people have asked about the difference between this and Dior Addict Lip Glow and while the Dior formula is similar in terms of colour and pigment, the texture when applied to the lips feels more waxy.
